PAYSALIA AND AGRIBEX: TWO MAJOR EVENTS FOR BATTERY-TOOLS BU

December was marked by our outstanding participation at two trade fairs. Here's a look back at our participation at PAYSALIA and AGRIBEX, where innovation and success were the order of the day.

A STRONG PRESENCE FOR BATTERY-TOOLS BU

PELLENC's participation at PAYSALIA in Chassieu (France) and AGRIBEX in Brussels (Belgium) was highly commended.These events were a great opportunity to showcase our latest innovations, strengthen our relationships, and demonstrate the BATTERY-TOOLS BU's commitment to technological advancement and sustainability in the agricultural, green and urban sectors.

The PAYSALIA trade fair was held in Chassieu, just outside Lyon, France.

PAYSALIA, THE BENCHMARK TRADE SHOW FOR THE LANDSCAPE SECTOR

The PAYSALIA trade fair took place from 5 to 7 December at Eurexpo, Lyon's exhibition centre. PELLENC was a great success, with over 981 visitors to the stand - an increase of 120% compared with 2021. A competition, similar to the one organised at SITEVI, was held on the stand, giving visitors the chance to win a C45 special 50th anniversary edition. The competition attracted 178 entries, giving everyone the chance to try out the pruning shears and enter the draw.

The Marketing team redesigned the presentation of the tools on the shelves, with new supports for several items of equipment. The change was well received and will be rolled out across the distribution network in 2024. In addition, the presence of two representatives from DUPERTHAL, our German partner, provided an opportunity to highlight the new SECURIONsecure charging cabinet (WHICHwon an award at SITEVI 2023), a promising yet little-known product.

LEAD STORY

A FIRST TIME EXHIBITOR AT AGRIBEX

PELLENC's first participation in the AGRIBEX trade fair in Belgium was a resounding success. A team from Sales, Product Life and Sales Administration manned the stand, attracting a mainly Dutch-speaking clientele. PELLENC products attracted a great deal of interest, both from existing users and new prospects, and there were many requests for demonstrations. Special thanks go to Jannick CHRISTIAENS, Sales Manager in BENELUX, for his presence throughout the show and for manning the stand alone on the final day.

The AGRIBEX trade fair took place from 6 to 10 December 2023.

FULLY MOBILISED TEAMS

The PAYSALIA and AGRIBEX 2023 trade shows were key events for the BATTERY-TOOLS BU, marking a turning point in the company's communication and product presentation strategy.

A big well done to all the staff who contributed to the successful organisation of the shows, especially the Communications, Marketing and Sales teams.

NEW INNOVATIVE COLLABORATION WITH DA BACCO COMMERCE

In December, the Group announced a new alliance with DA BACCO to bring together innovation and cutting-edge technology in viticulture and fruit growing in Romania.

This collaboration is a real opportunity, as DA BACCO specialises in cutting-edge equipment for maintaining vines and harvesting grapes and other fruit.

Through this alliance, the Group aims to help improve the quality of wine and fruit production in Romania and open up new horizons in the industry.

PROTECT YOUR ACCESS WITH STRONG PASSWORDS

- Use passwords that are long enough, complex enough and different enough.

- At the slightest doubt, or as a preventive measure, change them.

- Use a password manager and activate dual authentication whenever possible.

In the event of data loss (theft, breakage, failure, etc.), your data can only be recovered if it is backed up using the OneDrive enterprise application or on the file servers.

03 APPLY UPDATES

In this way, you correct the security loopholes that could be used by hackers to break into your devices, steal your personal information or passwords, or even destroy your data or spy on you.

DOWNLOAD ONLY FROM OFFICIAL SITES

Only install applications from official publishers' websites (e.g. Google Play Store) to limit the risk of installing a booby-trapped application to hack into your equipment.

BEWARE OF UNEXPECTED MESSAGES

If you receive an unexpected message, always ask the sender for confirmation by another means if it seems known and legitimate.

Think twice before clicking on a link. Check the target of the link by hovering your mouse over it.

07 LOCK YOUR WINDOWS SESSION

To prevent data theft or identity theft, lock your session when you are away from your workstation, even for a short time.

SEPARATE

YOUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL USES

It is important to separate your uses so that hacking into personal access cannot harm your business, or conversely, so that compromising your business cannot have an impact on the security of your personal data.

09 AVOID PUBLIC OR UNCONNECTED WIFI NETWORKS

When you're on the move, use your telephone subscription to connect to public WiFi networks. If you have no choice but to use public WiFi, make sure you never carry out sensitive operations on it, and if possible use a virtual private network (VPN).

LIMIT THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION

Only distribute information that is necessary to your contacts. Give preference to sending links to documents that require authentication to open attachments.

AN INTEGRATION DAY FOR PERTUIS WORK-STUDY STUDENTS FORMATION

On 19 December, an integration day was held for the 15 work-study students who will be joining PELLENC SAS in 2023.

A number of activities were organised to give them a sense of purpose and create links with their respective tutors. On the programme: an introduction to olive oil tasting, a convivial meal with the tutors and an educational game to discover the industrial culture and value chain of the company's various businesses.

Designed to promote the spirit of collaborative working, a taste for challenge and the transmission of knowledge, the day was a success!

A BREAKFAST TO THANK OUR EMPLOYEES PRODUCTION

Following the successful delivery of the special 50th anniversary MAV for SITEVI, the teams responsible for the project would like to thank all the teams and in particular the operators who contributed to this success. Their collaboration was essential

in presenting the 50th anniversary MAV to the general public, a real star on our stand alongside the pruning shears and the wine press!
