We recognize that the unceded land that we occupy includes not only the SFU Burnaby campus, but extends to the land occupied by the Vancouver and Surrey campuses as well.
In The Peak’s previous issue, “60th Birthday Bash” we published a piece titled “Writing stories since 1965 — The Peak turns 60!” where the photo credit was mistakenly attributed to Rick McGrath. Rick McGrath kindly provided this photo to The Peak and the credit should have read “Courtesy of Rick McGrath.” However, McGrath informed us that the the original photographer is Lloyd Popoff and this has been amended on our website.
HOUSING CONCERNS
Taking care of students is what drives us all to continue our work. We want to continue doing this important work, we are pleading with Compass and SFU to give us the contract we deserve.
The reason that it is like this is not some inevitability, it is because it is designed in a way to extract profit off people.
