Placement of the Bible Prayer of Confession Gracious and loving God, by your grace you have given us the gift of prayer, inviting us to come to you confident that you are always ready to hear us. We confess that we have neglected this gift. When we do pray, we are too often rushed and rote in our words.

Forgive us and create within us a desire to live in your presence moment by moment in all we do. Move our hearts to honest prayer even now as we continue our confession in silence . . .
