Prayer of Confession

Merciful and compassionate Lord, we confess to You this day that we allow our hearts to grow calloused. We see need around us and become numb to it. There are those who look to us to show Your compassion, but we look away from them. Forgive our hard-hearted tendencies and our self-centered ways. By Your Spirit, shape our hearts to break at the things that break Your heart. Mold our souls to be people of compassionate action, even as we continue our confession in silence…

Milestones

Just as families keep in touch about joys and sorrows, our church family at Peachtree wants to do the same. During your prayers this week, we ask you to lift up these people to God.

ACOLYTES

An acolyte plays an important role in our traditional worship, bringing the light of Christ into the service and leading us out into the world to be the light of Christ. Today’s acolytes:

Easter Lilies

PeachtreeChurch.org/Lilies

8:45 Megan Snipes Adair Weeks

10:00 Madeline Sappington Penelope McCraw

The beautiful flowers in the Sanctuary this morning are given to the glory of God and in loving memory of: J. Ridley Howard by Pam Howard; Holly & Ridley Howard, Jr.; and Elizabeth & Ben Newton and family

On Easter morning, the Sanctuary will be decorated with beautiful Easter lilies. If you would like to take part by honoring or remembering your loved ones, you may purchase lilies online with a credit card. Or, if you would prefer to pay by cash or check, lily order form envelopes are located in each pew. Simply complete the form on the envelope, include your payment, and place it in the offering plate. Completed forms with payment can also be placed in boxes located in the Williams Center and Family Commons throughout the week. Lilies are $10 for each person you wish to remember (Mr. & Mrs. count as two people). Forms and checks must be received no later than March 25. Names of those being honored will be listed in the Easter bulletin.
