The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from then he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

ACOLYTES

An acolyte plays an important role in our traditional worship, bringing the light of Christ into the service and leading us out into the world to be the light of Christ. Today’s acolytes:

8:45 Alexandria Knudsen Trenton Knudsen

10:00 John Copeland Sarah-Virginia Copeland

The beautiful flowers in the Sanctuary this morning are given to the glory of God and in loving memory of: Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Graham by Mr. & Mrs. Daniel McGloughlin

Sunday School

peachtreechurch.org/sundayschool For years, Peachtree has had a strong Adult Sunday School ministry. Cast aside the images you may have carried with you of Sunday School classes when you were a child, and replace them with this: Groupings of adults, sometimes (but not always) broadly clustered by age, but all with a common desire—to grow in relationships with one another, to increase knowledge of the Christian faith, and, in many cases, to join hands in service projects to make our Atlanta community a better place. Browse the classes listed on our website, and try any that sound like a good fit. You’ll find a welcoming community, new friends, interesting lessons and discussion, and the opportunity to become a more effective follower of Jesus.
