MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greetings Neighbors,

Here is a recap of the 2023 election results for your new Board of Directors members whose two-year term begins May 10, 2023: There were a total number of 646 homes that submitted a vote and 36 were invalid for various reasons. This is a return rate of 32% of all eligible homes. All three incumbents were re-elected to serve another 2-year term. There are a number of issues that the Board has to consider, and I have hit the ground running as your President to ensure this community maintains its current value as a highly desirable place to call home.

There are still volunteer positions available for the Architectural R e v i e w C o m m i t t e e a s w e l l a s t h e F i n a n c e , P a t r o l a n d Communications Committees. If you have a desire to serve and want to enlarge your scope of friends, please seriously consider picking up the necessary paperwork from any of the Front Desk receptionists or Nelenie or Carol in the Customer Service Office.

Many homeowners leave us for cooler temperatures during our summer months, but our schedule of events on-site or away will not diminish. Debbie is always on the lookout for events that are aimed at entertaining at reasonable prices.

Enjoy the summer weather and stay hydrated, as we can easily become sick without warning from too much sun and high temperatures. An initial symptom of trouble is feeling faint. Don't wait until your body signals you of trouble; drink fluids often, even if you aren't thirsty, as symptoms can come on fast.
