NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MONTHLY BULLETIN:

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

April is the month that some of us start thinking of a summer trip. Some may go for a week and others may go for the whole summer. Whichever the case, the first thing you should do is get to know your Neighborhood Watch Block Captain. If you're not sure if you have one, call Neighborhood Watch Coordinator Jim Blossey and ask if you have one assigned to your home. If there isn't one on your block, talk with your neighbors and see if they wouldn't mind watching over your home while you're gone.

The February Neighborhood Watch meeting was a potluck block party for the Block Captains and their guests. The reason for the block party was to get acquainted with fellow Block Captains. It was a fun evening for all. Before the pandemic we used to have them around the community.

Some of our Block Captains are planning to have a block party again in the coming months. If you don't have a Block Captain, consider having a block party yourself and meet your neighbors.

Our next monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held on April 20 at 4 p.m. in the Social Hall in the Community Center. All residents are welcome.

For information regarding the Sun City Aliante Neighborhood Watch program, contact our coordinator, Jim Blossey, at jimandpatb@embarqmail.com or 775-530-5119.

Be safe. If you see something, say something! Your Neighborhood Watch Block Captains
