BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2023 CANDIDATE FORUM

The Election Committee hosted an informative Candidate Forum on March 11 which was attended by the five Candidates running to fill the three Board of Directors positions: Larry Caggiano, Larry Cory, Warren Geller, Nancy Prince and Mark Towers.

The event was well received by residents who had the opportunity to learn more about each candidate during the question and answer discussion, led by the Forum Moderator, Mr. Steve Vitali. Residents were also able to speak to candidates themselves. Following the Candidate Forum, residents enjoyed a light lunch.

Ballots for the upcoming election are scheduled to be mailed to qualified homeowners in early April. Please read and follow the directions included in the mailing to be sure your ballot will be counted. Vote for no more than three of the five candidates.

The Annual Meeting of the members of the Sun City Aliante

Community Association will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10 in the Vista Room of the Community Center. The meeting will then recess to count the ballots.

The Annual Association Membership Meeting will reconvene at 12:15 p.m. Immediately following the conclusion of this meeting, the Board of Directors meeting will begin. The 2023 Election results will be announced at the conclusion of the Board of Directors meeting.

Sun City Aliante Nominated as Outstanding Large Association of the Year for 2022

Board President Warren Geller and General Manager Damian Carrasco also Nominated.

We are proud to announce that Sun City Aliante has been nominated by the C o m m u n i t y A s s o c i a t i o n s I n s t i t u t e ( C A I ) a s t h e S o u t h e r n N e v a d a Outstanding Large Association of the Year for 2022.

This is the fifth consecutive year that Sun City Aliante has been nominated for this prestigious award (considered the equivalent of the "CAI Oscar"). Most recently, Sun City was nominated and won the award for 2018, 2019, 2021. In 2020, we were again nominated for the award.

In addition, Warren Geller, President of the Sun City Aliante Board of Directors, and Damian Carrasco, General Manager of Sun City Aliante, have been nominated by CAI respectively as the Board Member of the Year and the Onsite Manager of the Year
