BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION 2023

Community Association will be convened at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in the Vista Room of the Community Center, located at 7394 Aliante Pkwy., North Las Vegas 89084. The meeting will then recess to count the ballots.

The Annual Meeting will reconvene at 12:15 p.m Immediately following the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, the Board of D announced at the conclusion of the Board of Directors meeting.

This year we have three open positions on the Board of Directors to be filled by the election process. The following three Board members have completed their two-year terms: Warren Geller, President, Nancy Prince, Treasurer, and Mark Towers, Director.

As of the 5 p.m. deadline on Monday, February 6, 2023, we had five qualified Board candidates who submitted their Candidate Interest Forms and Disclosure Statements and have entered the race for election to the 2023 Board of Directors.

The 2023 candidates are listed below in alphabetical order:

• Nancy Prince (Incumbent)

• Mark Towers (Incumbent)

As we received more qualified entrants than open Board positions, there will be a formal election this year A Candidate's Forum was held on March 11. Those residents in attendance had the opportunity to meet the candidates, listen to candidate statements, and evaluate candidate answers to pertinent questions from the moderator and those submitted by residents in advance. We were very fortunate to again have Mr. Steve Vitali as moderator for the Candidate's Forum. A light lunch was served afterward.

Candidate bios and photos were printed in the March Breeze and are also available on a display table near the Front Desk in the Grand View Room of the Community Center.

Dates to Remember:

Official ballots will be mailed to homeowners in good standing early this month. Once you receive your ballot, please follow the directions precisely if you want your ballot to count. (Ballots received that are not in compliance with stated directions will be disqualified.) Completed ballots may be returned via USPS mail or placed in the ballot box in the Community Center prior to the deadline, Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 8 a.m.

Let us all get involved. Many of you had an opportunity to evaluate the candidates at the Forum. Now, vote for the candidates you feel are best qualified.
