Es el principal balneario de Canelones y uno de los más importantes del país. En este lugar el escritor chileno Pablo Neruda pasaba sus vacaciones junto a Matilde Urrutia en la década del 50. Durante el verano los turistas recorren la nueva peatonal que es un paseo gastronómico y artesanal. Por la tarde o noche se pueden ver espectáculos en el Anfiteatro frente a la playa.
It is the largest resort in Canelones and one of the largest in the country. Here the famous Chilean writer Pablo Neruda spend his holidays with Matilde Urrutia in the 50s. During the summer tourists can enjoy the pedestrian street as a gastronomic and craft ride. In the afternoon or evening you can see shows at the amphitheater in front of the beach.
