Expanded Surgical Services for the Community
Palisades Medical Center is thrilled to announce that it has been able to expand its surgical services to better serve the growing needs of the local population, thanks to the generous support of donors. Not only has the hospital invested in its orthopedic surgery capabilities, but it has also recruited new colorectal and gastrointestinal surgeons to provide specialized care to patients in need. By further enhancing its surgical services, Palisades is standing out as a beacon of excellence in the community, offering invaluable resources to patients and their families.
Breaking a Language Barrier
Palisades Medical Center is an important pillar of hope for our local community, which is made up of a diverse and vibrant population. Our team members understand that every patient has unique needs, and they strive to meet them with the utmost care and compassion. To facilitate clear communication between patients, caregivers and their care teams, Palisades offers translation services in different languages, which are especially important when discussing complex medical procedures and follow-up care. Translators are essential to providing the best care possible, and we are grateful for the donors who make these much-needed services possible.
Accessible Breast Care for All
Ensuring patients receive comprehensive preventive care, especially in breast health, is of crucial importance. Palisades Medical Center has the capability to deliver life-saving breast care, encompassing mammograms, testing and surgery, made possible because of the generosity of donors like you. Additionally, the Palisades team goes out into the community to educate the importance of breast care and introduce them to the breast center at the hospital.
ENGAGING WITH THE COMMUNITY
Team members at Palisades Medical Center go beyond their roles within the hospital, as they actively participate in community outreach programs to promote the hospital’s services. Health awareness and community outreach are extremely important to improve the well-being of the patients we serve. A WHOLE NEW EMERGENCY CARE EXPERIENCE
A visit to the emergency room can be frightening and uncomfortable. Thanks to donors like you, Palisades Medical Center will soon unveil a new and expanded Emergency Department. The renovations will include more space and new areas to offer a higher level of privacy and comfort for patients and families. Once completed, the improvements to the Emergency Department will offer a whole new care experience for patients, visitors and team members.
