COLLEGE TOUR EXPERIENCE One of my main goals in life is to be successful. Becoming successful is a lot of hard work. There are a total of twelve grades needed to be completed in this lifetime, just to be able to gain acknowledgement and education of what will occur in life. Well I've made it to my junior year in high school and it's been a rough road but I'm still pushing through. One of my major goals is to make it to college to start my career and have a successful future.
The current high school that I'm attending is teachers preparatory. The deans, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Otto and Mr.Gansrow allowed me to participate in this year college tour. Our bus trip to the first college is Binghamton University. All I can think about is this can...show more content...
Another college that seems to provide that attention is Oneonta.
We arrived at Oneonta College and the first thing I see is SNOW!!! This tells me that the temperature up here is cooler then the temperature in Brooklyn. The appearance of the school seemed pretty quiet and small, which is an advantage towards Binghamton. When we entered a young man who has graduated from Oneonta and now works there explained to us about admissions, programs, and life on and around Oneonta College. Our tour guidance at Oneonta was a junior name Alexis who majored ineducation and biology so far in the school. The first area she showed us was the diner area which was smaller than the lunch space in Binghamton but it was cozy and comfortable. Next were the classrooms which some can fit up to 300 students and some were made for smaller classes such as 17 students to 1 instructor. Classroom setups are similar to Binghamton but seeming that Binghamton has more space the classroom sizes may decrease. Oneonta's majors are also similar to Binghamton, but this college seems to put more effort into education majors which is another advantage. Lastly, Alexis showed us the dorm rooms which were very short in height but made up in length and width. The rooms were smaller and less spacious as the ones in Binghamton, but they were cozy and comfortable enough to live in. The classes seemed to be decent

A Trip to Malaysia
Travelling is a sense of adventure that excites people, and also is a big chance for us to learn about other cultures and the way people live their lives. While many tourists travel to France, England or some famous countries in Europe, fewer travel to a small country in Asia. As someone who loves to explore and enjoy new things, 3 years ago in the summer, my boyfriend and I decided to backpack to Malaysia. It was a fantastic trip and an amazing experience for us that you should definitely try it. In this country, there are three destinations that travelers should not miss: the Petronas Twin Towers, Golden Triangle area, and The Genting Highland Park. When we arrived intoKuala Lumpur, we headed straight to the ...show more content...
We ate dinner at one of the restaurant at the base and watched the musical fountain show after.
The second night, when the sky is turn in to dark, it is time to dine in and have some drinks at a modern bar in the Golden Triangle area, which is also known as a place for shopping and savouring nightlife. This area is suitable for young hearted people with all night clubs, bars, discotheques, spas... For someone who doesn't like to go those places, you can try the special massage in this city, called Fish Massage. The good way to have fun and definitely something to talk about when returning home is that you should let those "Doctor Fish" gently nibble your toes. Kangko Fish Spa was the place that we went to relax our feet. There was a big tank where my boyfriend and I put our feet, and dozens of fish nibbled them, cleaning off all the dead skin. Once we got over the initial ticklishness, we found it was very relaxing. There were a several tanks with different sizes of fish. The smaller fish will equate to more like a massage chair set on a high vibration, where as the bigger ones are a little slower but more forceful. I was laughing non–stop because of those ticklishness, and my boyfriend had a good time laughing along with me. Whenever I visit Malaysia, I will definitely go there again. The next day, we drove to the Genting

One of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had was the mission trip I took to Costa Rica earlier this summer. Being able to be immersed in the culture of such a happy country while being able to help a family get a home changed my life forever. Meeting a family that had nothing but was so willing to share the little amount they had was such a humbling experience. Everyone we encountered on the trip was so nice and giving. The most important lessons I learned from this trip is that things I have taken for granted my entire life seem like a luxury to other people. Having a floor without any holes was something that I was just used to and i never thought that was something that could bring a family to tears from gratitude. Handing the keys

Mission Trip Experience Essay
In the past three years, I was involved with my church on a mission trip. For this, I traveled to Italy and being a foreigner that spoke only english, I had to learn Italian in a very short time. This mission trip took roughly two years. In this time, I not only learned Italian, I also learned the culture of the areas I was in and I helped various organizations in there efforts to help the homeless and less fortunate. This was done through organizing charity events, helping collect food donations, and even public servixe through cleaning areas of the town. I also was a part of BYU's tribe of many feathers club. This club hosted a variety of events, many of which offered food. My position in these events was to help clean the instuments used

Descriptive Essay Trip
In 2004 my dad, brother and I planned a trip with our South African friend, Fritz, to visit his home country. He acted as unofficial tour guide and cultivated the trip of a lifetime. The memories created during nearly two weeks abroad will stay with me and shape the rest of my life. At twelve years old I traveled over 36 hours from Atlanta, Georgia toSouth Africa. This amazing trip started with an overnight stay in Kruger National Park and a wildlife safari. We were warned of the vicious packs of hyenas, the stampeding elephants, and infamous lions. The beautiful wildlife was just the beginning of amazing sights and experiences. Next we took an adrenaline filled Zipline tour rushing through lush jungle, hiked to magnificent waterfalls and views from God's window. My experiences in the African savanna and jungle fortified my desire for adventure, hiking, exploring and love of the wilderness. Traveling towards the city I thought the road signs warning of carjackers in remote areas would be the most shocking memory of South Africa. Nothing could have prepared me for what the City of Gold exposed to me. We attended school with Fritz's nieces, learned a few Africans terms and interacted with kids our age. This all white school where thirteen year olds showed off their new bellybutton rings is a stark contrast to the atmosphere in the Soweto.
An educational tour of the history infused Soweto was imperative in justifying missed school days. Located just south of

My Experience In Singapore
"A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions." These words by Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. perfectly describe how my travel experience in Singapore this past summer has changed my life. Traveling to Singapore has been an item on my bucket list that I never thought I would ever be able to accomplish at such a young age. Through my travel, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the culture by living life as a local while visiting the major tourist spots that the country had to offer. I also had firsthand experience with the Singaporean lifestyle and I was so amazed by the beauty of the country. Because of this, my travel to Singapore has given me a new perspective on countries and has broadened my horizons in terms of travelling to a new place. On July 31st, 2017, my trip to Singapore commenced with a four hour flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at seven o'clock in the morning. Despite having woken up just a few hours after midnight and running very low on sleep, I was euphoric that I was finally given an opportunity to visit such a multi–cultured country. As the airplane began to ascend, I leaned back into the stiff seat and gripped on the armrest because although I have flown a couple of times in the past, I always seemed to get nauseous and apprehensive. However, my nausea soon subsided when the airplane levelled out and the flight attendants strolled along the aisles to distribute snacks. Shortly after, I peeked out the window and admired the thin wisps of clouds in the dawn sky until I succumbed to my much needed slumber. I woke up from my nap when I felt a light tap on my shoulder by my brother, Alex. He told me that it was time for the plane to begin its descent so I gathered my belongings and adjusted my seat until it was upright. As the airplane began to descend, I was filled with excitement and enthusiasm. I could feel so much energy rush through my veins as my ears popped and I finally heard the flight attendant say, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Singapore Changi Airport!" As soon as I stepped off of the airplane, I was met with many fluorescent lights lining the lofty ceilings and glass windows showcasing the modernistic architecture Singapore was

Descriptive Essay Trip
One of the greatest ways to learn about the world around us is to take a trip to visit new places. This past summer, I flew from my home in Florida to take a road trip with my aunt from Roanoke, Virginia. We went to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was an amazing experience to be able to visit the place where my family originated.
Our trip started in Roanoke where my aunt and I made our way to Canada driving through the night. Unfortunately, since it was dark, I was unable to see anything. I did, however, get to have time to talk with my aunt and get to know her a little better. After a long eleven hour drive, we finally made it to our Canadian destination. After resting a few hours at another aunt's house in Milton, I was ready to become tourist for a few days. My first stop was Niagara Falls just north of the Canadian border.
Niagara Falls is the largest waterfall by volume in North America; and is one of the largest tourist attractions. Even though it was extremely crowded making viewing difficult; the experience was worth the inconvenience. I was able to walk around and see some of the area surrounding the falls. The town of Niagara has great places to shop, as well as, wonderful restaurants. I enjoyed spending time with both of my aunts and one uncle. On the way back to my aunt's house we stopped off at my favorite restaurant, Swiss Chalet. This franchise is only in Canada, which makes it a must stop place for my family and I to eat. In my opinion, their chicken and

Descriptive Essay On A Trip
The art studies–at–large trip has been a once in a lifetime trip. From a twenty–four hour plane trip with a stop in Chicago and time zone change, it has been an exhausting yet enjoyable time running around with my classmates in the airport. Being in a different country and experiencing a new culture first hand was astonishing and gave me a new outlook of the beauties in the world. From Montone, Florence, Venice, andRome I had the ultimate trip in Italy. The food, language, and culture were different from what I was used to but it was worth the experience. I was not fond of drinking wine with every dinner though the wine was delicious. I had the best pastas, tiramisus, and coffees while I was in Italy. The art was beautiful; it was breathtaking to see how many free artworks was there for the public. After being in Italy for about a month I can see why people are attracted and want to live in Italy. Montone is a beautiful, peaceful, and friendly town. I enjoyed the walk to town, the covenant, Aries CafГ©, the tavern restaurant, and the town's people. I had the best cappuccino and coffee at Aries and I loved every dish I ate at the tavern restaurant. The view from the covenant was beautiful and works perfectly for a painting. Getting around town was easy with everyone being so nice and helpful. The piazza was a great place to hang out because of friendly the environment was and it was the main spot in town where everyone stayed. Getting a chance to draw Italy's million Get more content

There are places that are probably the opposite of your life. Like me and my cousins house. The craziness of my house can make break my will, which I try to keep intact. So traveling to my cousins house is a big get away for me. Going there is like me going to my second home(or third, since I have some weird relationship with some other place). And also I enjoy traveling, so its a great experience. It's a relief that we are there after 5 hours and 55 minutes after watching my sister throw up. (She doesn't do that anymore, thanks to medications).
In the evening, when dusk casts a small glow, we bought lightsabers outside and began a small battle. My sister serves as a referee so we don't kill each other. With them, because...show more content...
I was jumpy, my body was hyper and was waiting to get out, being the 8 year old I was at the time. When we arrived, I ran to the entrance, and took a look at that big globe that was there, and I was awestruck. I was excited and enjoyed my time there. When we were done, the sun was setting, and I was tired. We almost weren't able to go to the park because I got sick. We came there for another summer, and we went to Yosemite. There were mountains and trees all around. We stopped at a river and I was took some pictures of other relatives that came. We didn't see any animals there except for a deer, though. When I came home, whenever I tried to call upon any good memory when things were rough, they elude my imaginary hands. I longed to go any where for a while after that to get new ones.
Relatives live not far from my cousins house, and ones that don't come while we were there, and I get to see them. My mom has family over there, and we see them when we come. Their house got crowded when there were at least 2 or three families (mine included) staying over there. Also we had besides them other relatives that lived nearby coming over, so it be crowded. We enjoy our time because its be difficult to remember anything bad when others are around. Other people besides us being there makes it more fun and relaxing for me. At home, whenever I hear any relative talk, I ask if they are coming here to visit. They rarely are coming, and I feel a
