Montana: our 2025 Warren Young Woman By DAVID DIXON

Judging for the highly anticipated Warren Young Woman Competition 2025 took place over the weekend. The event was held at a morning tea in beautiful sunshine on Saturday at Ellerslie Lane with Warren Pastoral and Agricultural Association committee members, sponsors, judges, entrants and their supporters present. In the fi nal count, Montana Duncan is the Warren Young Woman 2025, with Heidi Schimann the runner-up. Montana will now go on as the local entrant in the Sydney Royal AgShows NSW Young Woman Competition, co-steward for the Young Woman competition, Audrey Weston, revealed. “This is an event that we want to continue supporting as part of our Warren Show, it’s important to us, as the winner gets to represent and promote our district to a wider audience,” Audrey said. “They also represent the region, and I know it’s easy to say, but these girls were both top candidates for this competition,” she added. Judges for this year’s event, she added, were Alana Wade of Gulgong, Cindy Job of Narromine, and Bec George of Nyngan. “Montana will now represent Warren P&A Association at the Zone Six selections, hosted by Eugowra Show Society, in February 2026. Come and meet Montana at the Warren Show on Saturday, June 14,” Audrey told Show-goers. “Thanks also go out to our sponsors, AGS Electrical, Elders Warren, Ellerslie Lane, Marra Made, Lovett and Green, Kiameron Pastoral, J and A Weston, Hatton Partnership, and W and L Nicholas,” she concluded.
