Needs and working procedures in the lab vary and continuously change. Layout, flexibility, and durability of the furniture must reflect the needs . Zystm has 3 lab series with fixed workbenches, cabinets and service modules and hoods. All serve pharmaceutical, biomedical, clinical and university, industry and science, R&D and QC. The design is timeless, developed with due consideration for safety, function, cleanliness, ergonomics, hygiene, flexibility, strength, and the environment. ® FLEXdance™ is made of alu/metal. Zystm systems are made of durable melamine with chase structures and ® drawers made of alu/metal. Zystm is the leading Nordic supplier of standard furnishing solutions. Zystm Lab Furniture Series 3 systems: Leg, Cantilever, Plinth ZYSTM 3 – furniture system with legs. It is inexpensive, stable and easy to configure. Zystm 3 has freestanding tables with support legs linked together with span rails. Utility outlets are on top of a service chase behind the tables, and/or in a service bridge above. Each leg is fitted with a height adjustable foot to allow for levelling of the table. The work surface is secured to the framework. Underneath drawers and cabinets are sidewards adjustable.
ZYSTM 5 – furniture system without legs, cantilevered. Zystm 5 is an elegant system, easy to keep clean. Zystm 5 has cantilevered worksurfaces, tied on an island core. The island core is the service chase. Utility outlets are on top of the service chase, and/or in a service bridge above. The work surface is tied to the the island core. Underneath drawers and cabinets are sidewards adjustable.
ZYSTM 7 – plinth mounted furniture system. Most often used in care. Zystm 7 has lots of
storage space, is 100% stable, and it is easy to service in clean environments.
Zystm 7 has plinth mounted cabinets. The space behind the cabinets form the service chase. The installations are attached to T-supports. Utility outlets are on top of the service chase, and/or in a service bridge above. The tabletop may span across an island. The table has very high load capacity.

Top shelving. Upper cabinets. Lower cabinets. Storage room come in more versions: upper and lower. Cabinets come with one door, or two doors. Doors come in laminate or as china cabinet, with tempered glass. Doors may be omitted. Shelving comes in more materials: ¾" melamin, 40 lbs per shelf or 0,7" mm laminate for higher durability, 40 lbs per shelf or ¾" PFB plade with melamin when higher loads and wider spans are needed. Drawer cabinets All cupboards and drawers are slidable, and can easily be moved from table to table. Drawers come with 80% or 100% pull-out. Use 100% when you benefit of maximum capacity. Drawer fronts are laminate. The pull-outs run smooth and stable. Drawer sides are double sided steel, powdercoated. Hence the pull-outs are invisible. Drawers have 80% or 100% pull-out. Softclose is standard when 100% Tabletops Phenolic resin, Laminate, Epoxy, PP, Ceramic, Corian and Stainless steel.
Free standing table, motorized height adjustability Height adjustable tables come with a motor and an actuator. Use this feature where more users work at the same bench, or when required by ergonomics. Wall hanging table, motorized height adjustability Height adjustable tables come with a motor and an actuator. The wall hanging solutions take more load. The table has a strong frame for cupboards and drawers. All cupboards and drawers are slidable, and can easily be moved from table to table. Clean room and GMO Tables are configurable to meet clean room requirements and GMO requirements where applied. Cleanliness is best-in-class.
Service Chase / Technical Base The lab has different utilities: electrical, data, media, lighting, exhaust. All utilities routed below the tabletop are routed in a service chase. Outlets at the table are fed with plumbing and electrical lines from this service chase. Outlets in an above service bridge also may be fed from this service chase. Zystm 3, 5 and 7 all have space for a service chase. The chase is below the tabletop, along the wall or in the centre isle. Zystm5 has the service chase as an integral part of the system. The chase is also used for cantilevered tabletops and cabinets, and to support vertical shafts when feeding an above service bridge. Zystm 3 and Zystm 7 uses T-supports for the installations. Panels may hide the installations. Zystm 7 is most often used for care solutions, with MEP in a service bridge or in wall panels, above the tables. This allows for unhindered service access to the MEP-installations. In this case, the Zystm7 chase is for drain only, or empty.
Service Bridge The service bridge is an elevated horizontal utility bridge that provides access to service fixtures and an obstruction free work area. The service bridge houses electrical, data, media, lighting and chase for localized exhaust. The Zystm installation bridge is made in aluminium. It comes either ”nature anodised” or powdercoated white, RAL 9016. It is most commonly used in Zystm 5, but applicable in all systems. Light comes in T5 fluorescent, and LED Kelvin 3000 or 4000. Electrical installations are routed in the sides of the bridge. Separations are possible. Outlets are inserted where needed, sidewards. Gasses, water and media are routed in the middle section of the bridge. Outlets are inserted where needed, downwards.
