In preparing for this special issue of the Recorder—our fifth annual Education issue—our Recorder editor was privileged to visit the Adventist schools featured in the photographs. We are proud to share photos of students, faculty, and staff from Adobe Adventist Christian School, Bakersfield Adventist Academy, Calexico Mission School, Fresno Adventist Academy, Glenview Adventist Academy, Lodi SDA Elementary School, Sacramento Adventist Academy, Saguaro Hills SDA Christian School, Sierra View Junior Academy, Thunderbird Adventist Academy, and Thunderbird Christian Elementary. We are indebted to Cynthia Mendoza, a freelance writer based in Southern California and frequent contributor to Adventist publications, who developed the cluster of articles that anchor our reporting this month and focus on the benefits of Adventist education.
