Infused Water or Tea Station in Lobby

Brand Standard Requirements:  Front Office staff must greet dogs with dog treats and cats with cat treats.  Next, Front office staff must ask for name of pet to welcome them and then input the name into the customer profile within the PMS so that the pet can be called by their specific name through the stay.  Front Office staff should then offer the pet-owner the items listed on our complimentary pet accommodations list to see if there is anything that we can do to accommodate their pet while they are staying in-house. Pet accommodations list should include in-room beds, food bowls, water bowls, place mats and dog robes.  If owner, elects to order one of the complimentary accommodations, these should be ordered by the front office and be brought up to their room after check-in.  Front Office Staff must tell the guest about the onsite Dog Bark, Pet Spa treatments, Pet Menus, nightly Yappy Hour and offer to have the Concierge coordinate any dog walking or pet-sitting services during their stay.  Guest should then be presented with a V.I.P (Very Important Pet) Guide which should outline all of these experiences and be handed a Door hanger that alerts housekeeping that their pet is in the room before completing the rest of the check-in procedures.  Hotel staff must ask for pet-owner’s permission before petting any pets on property.

It is recommended that each property have a non-alcoholic beverage station in their lobby.

Benefit:

Creates a memorable arrival experience for guests that they can enjoy while in the lobby. This will also create a positive customer experience in the event of long wait times during check-in or checkout.

Brand Standard Requirements:  Non-alcoholic beverage station options include infused ice water, hot teas and iced teas.  Non-alcoholic beverage station to be approved by Property Marketing Lead at each property and utilize infused fruits that are unique to the destination.
