ADAM HILDEBRANDT, DDS Woodbury Smiles Dentistry // Office 873 // Minnesota region Partnered with PDS: 10 months
Not many can claim that Alan Jackson (yes, that Alan Jackson) gifted them their first guitar. Meet Dr. Adam Hildebrandt: a dentist at Woodbury Smiles Dentistry by day and a performing indie country artist by night. Dr. Hildebrandt’s parents won meet-and-greet tickets on the radio and asked the star for a guitar. Shortly after, a guitar arrived at his doorstep. Dr. Hildebrandt uses the stage name “Adam Brandt” for country and “Bark Point” for his indie bluegrass music.
What began as a pandemic hobby with a close friend evolved into two EP records and three singles. The multi-instrumental singer has already experienced a sold-out show with his team members in attendance. John Mayer first inspired him to play the guitar. “He’s a phenomenal artist. I feel like I know him because I know all his songs by heart.”
While in dental school, Dr. Hildebrandt discovered dentistry has a creative side. “Professionally, I sculpt teeth. Either through CEREC® CAD/CAM technology or with fillings, dentists are artists and sculptors of teeth,” Dr. Hildebrandt said. “As for my hobby, I create and write music. Both are artistic outlets and each has a unique purpose in impacting lives.”
What’s next for Dr. Hildebrandt? He plans to release more music and explore music further. When asked if he would perform at NSC, he smiled widely with an enthusiastic, “Yes! Let’s make it happen.”
