CATALYST FOR INCLUSION
DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION Through our philanthropic arm, Outdoor Foundation, we’re working to understand, address and break down barriers to expand access to the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of the outdoors for everyone—with a focus on underserved communities and youth. Safe, close-to-home access to the outdoors and nature is vital to people’s physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. However, not everyone has access to nature or outdoor experiences on a regular basis and therefore cannot experience the scientifically proven benefits of time outdoors. We make multi-year investments in communities that know what they need to harness the benefits of the outdoors for all. As an organization, we’re focused on industry culture, pursuing equitable federal policy and state legislation, and creating a diverse pipeline of talent to be our next product designers, testers, and sustainability champions. As a catalyst, we’re committed to this ongoing, iterative work to ensure the vitality of the outdoor industry.
