Climate Action Corps (CAC) is an OIA-led program that helps outdoor businesses reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and go beyond net-zero to become a climatepositive industry by 2030.
CAC participants are business leaders, climate experts, outdoor enthusiasts, and OIA members who represent $25B in annual sales revenue, over 85 companies, and more than 200 individuals.

• Measure & Plan: Build a company-specific plan and measure your Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
• Reduce & Remove: Take immediate action to drive down emissions in line with 2030 science-based targets. Remove >100% remaining emissions by investing in direct projects or offsets, which will ideally be nature-based.
• Advocate & Engage: Participate in climate advocacy actions annually and empower consumer climate action.

Clean Chemistry And Materials Coalition

New! OIA’s Clean Chemistry and Materials Coalition is a program, consulting service and working group that helps members balance financial and product management risks with new and existing sustainability laws.
CCMC provides members with a scalable action plan for eliminating and replacing harmful chemicals and materials, delivering supply chain transparency, recycling and emission disclosures and more. Designed to support retailers, brands, manufacturers, and distributors in a way that’s unique to their product category and life stage, our goals are to support members as they innovate on sustainability and build consumer trust in their favorite brands.
