ust like our cars and homes, there comes a time when everything in life needs a little maintenance. November brings news about a major maintenance project coming to the Paul Derda Recreation Center pool. The indoor aquatic park and pool area is scheduled for closure starting November 6 with a planned reopening in February 2024. The Paul Derda Rec Center is an amazing 85,000 square foot facility that is popular with families of all sizes for its many amenities. During the PDRC Pool Closure, Recreation Services will be

offering a variety of kids birthday party options at both Recreation Centers including pottery, yoga, legos, art, and tumble/ play. So don’t stress about kids’ birthday parties just because the pool is closed; plan and reserve another fun-filled party at either recreation center. Party reservations include a party room and an instructor-led activity for the kids. For more information about party options and to make a reservation, please visit www.b-rex.com under the Facilities menu or for general questions, please email pdrcrental@broomfield.org. Swim lessons and classes that are scheduled at PDRC into mid-November will be moved over to the Broomfield Community Center and take place at the same time as originally scheduled at PRDC. Additional classes and programs also will be offered at the Broomfield Community Center while Paul Derda is undergoing maintenance.
