UBTECH Education’s UKIT solutions are classroom designed and intended to grow with students by creating vertical alignment across grade levels. Each of the three UKITs include the same basic building pieces, but scale in complexity by adding pieces, sensors, output components and circuitry elements as the kits progress.

Students begin with basic dragand-drop coding with our Beginner and Intermediate kits through the uKit EDU app, which can be downloaded for free through an app store and used on iOS, Android and Chromebook devices. This coding sets a foundation for programming before students transition to more advanced coding with our Advanced kit’s browser-based programming solution uCode [idena.ubtrobot.com], which includes text-based C++ coding along with block-based coding.

Each coding platform features step-by-step 3D build instructions for multiple robot builds. With 13 builds with UKIT Beginner, 15 for UKIT Intermediate and 38 with UKIT Advanced, educators have a variety of builds to engage students.

UKIT components are stored in durable, easy-to-carry cases that include a sorting tray for those smaller pieces and stack nicely on top of each other. This makes classroom storage and organization easy. These kits can also support up to four students per kit, which allows a Class Pack of eight kits to support a class of up to 32 students.

In addition to the hardware and software, UKITs come with everything educators need to introduce and reinforce integrated STEM and computer science concepts, including interactive NGSS-aligned STEM guides, digital student notebooks and implementation guides. Each UKIT comes with three STEM units that incorporate one of the included robot builds.

Using the engineering design process, students iterate on this build as they solve a design challenge.
