Repaso de los equipos de NFL de Florida tras el 1º mes Ya han pasado 5 semanas de la temporada regular, y los 3 equipos de Florida tienen sensaciones muy distintas. Tampa Bay Los actuales campeones han lucido bien a secas, todavía lejos del nivel de campeón que mostraron el año pasado y con algunos detalles por mejorar. La ofensiva puede lucir imparable a veces, como contra Atlanta y Miami, con Tom Brady jugando como en sus mejores tiempos y con el mejor arsenal de la NFL (Brown, Evans, Godwin, Gronk, Brate, Howard, Fournette, Bernard, RoJo, etc). Pero también pueden mostrar deficiencias, como cuando visitaron Los Ángeles o Nueva Inglaterra. Mientras se mantengan sanos, parece que no tendrán mayores problemas, más por el puro talento que por otra cosa. Del lado defensivo es donde parece otro equipo. Son literalmente la peor defensiva por aire de la liga, entre las lesiones que han sufrido solamente los miembros de la secundaria como Winfield Jr, Whitehead, Davis y Dean, más la adición de Richard Sherman que no ha funcionado. Por cantidad y calidad de nombres siguen siendo candidatos, pero hay claramente cosas por mejorar.

As long as they stay healthy, it seems that they won’t have major problems, more out of sheer talent than anything else. On the defensive side is where this seems like another team. They’re literally the worst passing defense in the league, partly due to injuries suffered only by secondary members like Winfield Jr, Whitehead, Davis and
Dean, plus the addition of Richard Sherman who has not worked. By quantity and quality of names they are still candidates, but clearly there are things to improve. Jacksonville As of this typing the Jaguars have 20 losses in a row, the worst streak in 44 years. In addition, all the drama that Urban Meyer has brought with him suggests that his time as an NFL head coach will be one season (or less). Trevor Lawrence has shown sparks, but he can do little with so few talents around and with a poorly coached team. In addition, he completes passes that his teammates fumble and get returned for touchdowns. It goes to show that no matter how much talent and potential your quarterback has, without help you won't win many games. The historic streak is 26 losses in a row (by Tampa Bay in 1977). Miami The hardest team of the three to crack, by far. Miraculously they won week 1 at Gilette Stadium by one point and a forced fumble in the final seconds, but since they’ve lost 4 in a row. Tua wasn't showing anything special, got injured and Brissett came to the rescue, but all he did was make Dolphins fans miss Tua, who will be back this Sunday. All the momentum that Brian Flores' team once generated seems to be gone, and Miami doesn't seem to be doing anything special. Mediocre offensive line, non-existent running game, by air Waddle and Parker are the only sparks, and in defense they have already broken their streak of games in a row forcing a turnover, which lasted almost two years. With the 1-4 start the margin of error is slim, and they need to regain momentum if they don't want to be left out of the playoffs for the 12th time in the past 13 seasons.
