Kicking off Spring was Oktoberfest - more of a winter’s day in Munich than a spring day in Perth! Needless to say, our stellar members and guests braved the cold wintery day and had a blast.

German Beer flowed so well that all kegs ran out late in the afternoon. This is a record never happened before, so well done to all you die-hard German Beer lovers. The Oompah Band played music throughout the day while DJ Karl Carosella ended the night on a high.

Bali by the Sea has now become the most popular Club Event on our thank you as it continues to grow in popularity. This time around was no exception, with Bali by the Sea 3.0, selling out way before the day.

Bintangs by the Bucket load and Cocktail Shakers at the ready, the sun was shining, staff dressed in traditional Balinese Costumes and the day was ready to commence.

The very special Balinese Dewata Community of Western Australia worked closely with us again, providing mouth-watering traditional Balinese food, dancers, security and entertainment.

DJ Karl and Selina M were playing all throughout the day and night, providing amazing music between all our other wonderful attractions. Once again thankyou to all staff and volunteers who helped make Bali by The Sea 3.0 a huge success.

We also raised $3,453 from the Raffles on the day that was sent to the Let's Help Bali Foundation. This group which finds where the needy live and bring them basic care drops of vegetables, rice, and eggs that can sustain an entire village for a month. Thankyou to a very special member who also donated a large sum of their own money towards this cause. We love bringing our two communities together and celebrating everything we all love about Bali, and look forward to the next one!

Our first event in 2023 is our award winning Australia Day with Club Favourite Dr Bogus. Ticket options include a full BBQ Buffet lunch, or General Entry. Check out our website for more information - but be quick as this event always sells out!

This year is also the Clubs 50th Year and we have lots of special things planned so keep an eye out for upcoming events and come to help us celebrate all we love about our club.

Finally, Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club would like to thank all members, volunteers, staff, and of course our Committee for their unwavering support and commitment throughout 2022.
