Hello everyone!

What a fantastic time to be part of the ORRSC. With membership nearing full capacity, the announcement from the City of Joondalup on the funding for our new clubhouse, COVID life is nearly behind us, launching our new digital Online TIDE magazine, and our 50 year anniversary is fast approaching.

With the City Of Joondalup funding now approved, we can focus our planning efforts more precisely on the larger $8+ Million dollar venue. I am in the process a developing a “Transitional Plan for Operations” as well as the new Club Venue interior design and fit out.

Including but not limited to:

Club Venue

Interior design, furniture and furnishings, audio visual, IT, lighting, security, kitchen and bar fit out, air conditioning, heating, landscaping and kids playground, shade, seating, etc

Operations

• Financial Modelling, planning and budgeting • Staffing requirements, Org charts • Branding and Marketing • Business Plan/SWOT • Sponsorships and financial assistance • Club Capacity and Membership Capacity

COVID is soon to be a thing of the past and the easing of mandates and mask wearing is one the best news items I have heard for 2 years. I’m sure we are all happy to walk around and work with freedom. COVID has finally broken out in our “Club Community”.

Many of our regular members and staff have become positive in the last 2 weeks. We came very close to closing the venue this week due to staff shortages. We still have around 2 years left in the current venue, so we want to make the most out of this and make sure we are offering a variety of things for everyone to enjoy.

This new TIDE has been in the making for many months. We have added some more sections in the aim of making it more engaging, interactive, informative and easier to read. You can still pick up a copy in the Club, plus you can download it yourself to print or read on any device. We hope you like it.
