First Class Honours for Orpington College Restaurant Manager

HE Manager of London South East College’s BR6 Restaurant, Marcel Dueren, has achieved a first class honours degree in teaching and professional training, receiving top marks for his thesis, which has now been handed to the College’s senior leadership team for consideration to become part of its teaching and learning policy resources.
Marcel joined the Orpington Campus five years ago and has had an influential effect on how students are taught, giving hands-on, experienced-based training leading them to employment in some of the most distinguished hotels and restaurants in the UK. Marcel has enjoyed an illustrious career in the hospitality sector, beginning his illustrious career with an apprenticeship in hotel management.
German-born Marcel went on to take a wide range of positions such as restaurant supervisor, bar manager, head waiter, and hospitality general manager for companies in London and cities across Europe. Receiving official confirmation of his first Marcel Dueren class standard from specialists, professional chefs, hotel and Canterbury Christ Church University, restaurant managers, catering service Marcel said, “I’m truly blown away providers and many others.
