Orpington 1st Business Improvement District is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, owned and led by local businesses working to make the town centre a better place. The Orpington 1st Magazine is the local magazine for Orpington town centre. Shining a spotlight on local businesses, providing the latest on town centre developments, previewing and reviewing local events, updates from key organisations and stakeholders, and stories of local interest. Published seasonally, The Orpington 1st Magazine is distributed to 13,000 homes, with a further 2,250 copies available to pick up from various town centre locations, and it's also available digitally.
