LOOKING to make a fl ying start to the 20s? Chrysalis Recruitment Centre now have a registered onsite National Careers Service Advisor available to meet with individuals on a one to one basis to discuss career options and requirements, free of charge. The National Careers Service (NCS) provides free and impartial information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work. Residents across Orpington and surrounding areas can now book a free National Careers Service appointment with local advisor, Anna Taylor, owner of Chrysalis Recruitment Centre.

During appointments, attendees will receive professional advice on how to move forward; whether it be within training or employment, as well as practical support which can include help with CVs, support with job searching or completing online applications. NCS advisers can also discuss any barriers individuals feel they may be facing and help to resolve these in order for them to access work or training.

Anna said, “We have already been able to help lots of local people with impartial careers advice and guidance – off ering services such as CV Writing, interview skills and understanding their transferable skills if they are looking for a complete career change!

“We are looking forward to meeting many more individuals in 2020 and aim to support them with practical advice which can lead to employment opportunities or further training.”
