HSL Properties and Borderlands Construction have officially started Phase 1 of the long-anticipated Oro Valley Marketplace redevelopment project, approved by Town Council in 2023. This first phase will add 320 new apartments, a new public park and pedestrian improvements designed to make the Marketplace a more vibrant place to live, shop and visit. Shoppers can expect lane restrictions and detours on Water Harvest Way through 2027. Stores will remain open during construction, so Shop OV!
Naranja Drive Multi-Use Path
Construction of the Naranja Drive Multi-Use Path was scheduled to begin in November following a short delay. The 1.75-mile path will run along the north side of Naranja Drive, from La Cañada to First Avenue, and will improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists while connecting neighborhoods to Naranja Park, the Oro Valley Library and nearby businesses. Work is anticipated to continue through Summer 2026. During that time, residents can expect temporary lane restrictions and construction equipment along Naranja Drive.
