SIBLING DISCOUNT *FOR SELECT PROGRAMS The Oregon Park District offers a sibling discount of 10% for select programs for each addi onal child enrolled in a program where one child has already enrolled at full price in the same session.

Registra on for all siblings must take place at Nash or by phone at the same me in order to receive the discount, if applicable. All family members must be in the same account to qualify.

OPD FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The Oregon Park District provides financial assistance in several forms to help families or individuals that are in financial difficulty with program fees, preschool tui on, Extended Time program and Camp Oh-Pea-Dee. Funds are provided through employee-driven fundraising and generous dona ons through the A. Charles and Lillemor Lawrence Founda on. RESIDENCY

CLASS CHANGES

MT. MORRIS VILLAGE RESIDENTS Mt. Morris Village residents can register for all programs, memberships, facility rentals and daily fees at the Oregon Park District resident rate. Addi onal non-resident fees are subsidized by the Village of Mt. Morris.

FEES

The Oregon Park District may cancel, postpone, combine classes, or change instructors. Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment and refunds will be issued.

All par cipants will be no fied of any scheduling changes or cancella ons.

WAIVER POLICY The Oregon Park District requires all class par cipants and pass holders to sign a waiver release form.

Waivers will be signed and kept on file at Nash Recrea on Center. Your registra on is not considered complete un l a signed waiver is on file.

PROGRAM REFUND POLICY

Fees must be paid at the me of registra on by cash, check, or credit card. The first fee listed is the rate for Oregon Park District residents. The second fee is for nonresidents. No registra ons or rentals will be accepted without the proper payment.

GROUP RESERVATIONS Groups of 15 or more will receive a 10% discount on daily fees if reserva ons are made at least 10 days in advance.

MEMBERSHIP REFUND POLICY Refunds will not be approved on Park District passes, however refunds may be requested on passes for two reasons: major illness and/or injury with a doctor’s note or a move outside of a 90 mile radius with proof of primary residency (updated ID, u lity bill, etc.). Passes and cards are non-transferable.

* Full refund will be issued if the Park District reschedules/cancels a class. * To withdraw from a program, a refund applica on must be completed by visi ng our website and submi ng a request. * An administra ve fee of $5.00 shall be deducted from the amount of a refund to offset the cost of processing the refund. A full refund, less the fee, will be granted if the applica on for refund is filed with the office at least ten days prior to the scheduled start of the program/ac vity. * Refunds will not be granted a er the registra on deadline. * All program refunds are subject to the program coordinator’s approval. * Refunds will not be approved on Park District passes. * Passes/cards are non-transferable.

ID is required for proof of residency or a non-resident fee will be charged. A resident is an individual living in or owning real estate within the boundaries of the Oregon Park District. All Oregon School District students par cipa ng in youth team sports are considered residents.

The Oregon Park District is currently encouraging our community to register online for the safety of our staff and patrons during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Luckily, the District is able to offer a simple and efficient online registration system for you and your family using our online registration system, Perfect Mind. With Perfect Mind, users can update account information, register for an activity of event, or reserve their time slot for Nash Recreation Center’s fitness center, TRX room, pool or gymnasium from anywhere with an internet connection.

If you are new to the Oregon Park District, you can create an account in a few short steps! Already have an account with your primary email address? Please make sure to select ‘Forgot your password’ to re-establish your account. Once you’re in, you can update your household information, payment information, sign up for programs and activities, and reserve an upcoming time slot at Nash Recreation Center.

While the District strives to make your online experience one of the best, please note there are a few account features that are not available online. x

If you live within the District boundaries and are a Resident, please call Nash Recreation Center at (815) 732-3101 so our Customer Service team can update your account. Once updated, resident rates will be applied for all future online registrations and reservations.

Discounts are not available through Online Registration. If you wish to take advantage of our Sibling Discount, please register over the phone or at Nash Recreation Center.

AUTOMATIC MONTHLY PAYMENT

A Nash Recrea on Center pass or daily fee allows patrons to use the pool and whirlpool, gym, TRX room, and Fitness Center.

Racquetball court rental is included in the annual pass fee and is $3.00/hour for non-annual pass holders. Wallyball court rental is $5.00/hour.

NASH FITNESS CENTER The Nash Fitness Center is over 6,000 square feet and features a three lane rubberized track that surrounds our CYBEX strength training machines, free weights, and cardiovascular equipment.

Fitness Center staff is available to set up an orienta on for any and all users looking to begin a fitness rou ne.

TRX ROOM A new addi on to the facility includes our TRX room featuring 800 square feet of alterna ve fitness equipment. Room features 6 TRX sta ons, ke lebells, weighted ropes, yoga mats, dumbells, re flip, punching bag, spin bikes, rower, ellip cal, air assault treadmill and

LOCKERS The Oregon Park District has lockers available for rental to annual pass holders for the term of the pass. The cost is $65 for residents and $80 for non-residents.

The pass fee is paid for the first three months, and is only available on annual passes.

AGE RESTRICTIONS Children under the age of 5 are welcome to use the gym and pool area free of charge. Anyone 3rd grade or younger must be accompanied by a parent or responsible person, Junior High aged or older in the facility. Par cipants must be 7th grade or older to use the Nash Fitness Center and 9th grade or older to use the free weights.

SILVERSNEAKERS & RENEW ACTIVE The Oregon Park District is an approved SilverSneakers and Renew Ac ve loca on. If you are unsure if you are a member or do not have a membership ID, the front counter staff at Nash can assist in determining your eligibility.

The automa c debit monthly fees are shown above. With your permission, automa c credit card charges will be made each month. The first amount is the ini al payment that will be made when registering, followed by the amount of 11 equal payments charged each month.

*Family: Persons must reside in the same household. Each household is limited to two adults, legally married (including civil union and common law marriage), with the excep on of fullme students between the ages of 18 and 24. An unlimited number of persons 17 and under can be included under a family membership.

WATER AEROBICS-AGES 18+

NASH RECREATION CENTER POOL

Exercise your en re body without pu ng stress on your back and joints. This class will work on toning, cardiovascular strength, endurance, and flexibility. All levels can par cipate, and par cipants can tailor exercises to their ability.

The Nash pool features stairs to a 3 foot bay area a ached to a 25 meter 6 lane pool. The deepest area is 10 feet. The pool is equipped with a handicap chair li to assist patrons in and out of the pool.

DEEP WATER AEROBICS-AGES 18+ Deep Water Aerobics is a more intense workout than your typical water aerobics class. Working out in the deep end will allow you to get a cardiovascular workout without the impact.

You will also increase your endurance, flexibility and strength.

Par cipants do not need to know how to swim. An aqua jogger belt will be provided.

TWINGES-AGES 18+ Let the natural buoyancy and resistance of the water help you improve your joint strength and flexibility along with improving cardiovascular endurance while walking and jogging in the shallow end. Par cipants do not need to know how to swim.

This Co-Ed Sand Volleyball League will be played at our sand volleyball courts at Park West. There will be a regular season followed by an end-of-year tournament.

Teams may have up to 6 players on the court at one me but may never exceed 3 males on the court. Gather your friends and come on out for some summer fun on Thursday nights!

Recrea onal so ball is back at Park West! This league is designed for men and women to enjoy slow-pitch so ball through friendly compe on. Bats will be provided by the park district for each team to use. The league will consist of a regular season, and a postseason tournament to end the year.

EARLY RISE WITH AIMEE-AGES 18+ Rise and shine, get your day started with Aimee! This class covers cardio and light to medium weight training to help increase stamina, strength, and flexibility. This is an excellent way to cross train! Beginner, moderate, and advanced health enthusiasts are all welcome. Classes will be held at Nash Recrea on Center.

PICKLEBALL OPEN GYM-18+ Pickleball is o en described as a mixture of ping-pong, tennis, and badminton, all played on a mini tennis court with an oversized paddle and a ball similar to a wiffle ball. BATTING CAGES WITH PITCHING MACHINE Ready for some ba ng prac ce? We are excited to offer rentals for Ba ng Cages with a pitching machine at Oregon Park West. A staff member will be onsite to assist with the pitching machine, and all IDPH guidelines will be followed. You must provide your own bat and helmet. Reserva on must be made by the prior Thursday. Available in 30 min intervals, but you can certainly book more than one!

Grab your friends and join us for a fun Youth Co-Ed Sand Volleyball League on our Sand Volleyball courts at Park West. Teams will consist of a maximum of 6 players with a maximum roster of 15, and there cannot be more than 3 males at once on the court. Games will be selfofficiated, and the season will last 4 weeks. There will be a mandatory team mee ng on June 4th at 4:30 pm at the Sand Volleyball courts to go over rules.

The 6th Grade volleyball program focuses on skill development and is an introduc on to volleyball. The program will help prepare par cipants for the Jr. High level of compe on. Prac ce dates and me will vary depending on the preference of the head coach. Home games are played at Nash and travel to away games is provided by OCUSD buses. Tryouts may be required if the max number of par cipants is reached. A volunteer coach is needed for this team. Please contact lesley@oregonpark.org if interested.

HAWKS VOLLEYBALL CAMP Join Oregon Hawks Volleyball Coach Farrell Cain, her coaching staff and the OHS Lady Hawks for a week of basic techniques, skill building and intra-team scrimmages. This week-long camp will either introduce your child to the sport of volleyball or build on their skills. Each player will receive an OHS Lady Hawks team shirt. Players will be divided by age levels. Younger players will learn the basics of volleyball at their level with an age-appropriate net. Camp will be held at Nash. Parents can accompany their children to the gymnasium but then must leave to adhere to capacity limits. Pick-up will be at the northeast gym door exit. 100% of the proceeds from camp benefit the OHS Volleyball Team.

JUNIOR HIGH CROSS COUNTRY Junior High athletes will develop endurance, improve their running technique, and build team camaraderie. Practices will be held multiple days of the week and meets will be held similar to the high school schedule. Transportation to meets is not provided. New this year we are bringing you an upbeat and fun running experience for all experience levels. Join us for a race distance of your choice including a 1 mile fun run, 5K (3.1 miles) or a 10K (6.2 miles) run. The 5K and 10K will have a rolling start. All three distances will be chip-timed. The course will loop through parks and surrounding community. All participants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal! Other coupons for local businesses will be included in your packet as well. BASEBALL & SOFTBALL NIGHT Let's celebrate the beginning of baseball and softball season and remember former Park District employee, scorekeeper, and huge baseball fan, Joey Kerwin. Let's pack the park and enjoy double-headers at both diamonds at Oregon Park West. This will be a fun evening, not just for baseball/softball families, but fun for the community and all who knew Joey to come out and watch our youth play ball.

All teams will be announced so players should wear their team shirts. All players who attend will also be entered into a drawing with several prizes to be given away!

Operation Move June 3 Join the Oregon Park District and KSB Wellness as we get kids moving!

Operation Move is a free program to promote families getting active in the summer. Free events will be held throughout the Oregon Parks in June and July. Sign up for giveaways at the events. Events will be held on Thursday afternoons from 2-3:30, unless noted differently.

You must register to reserve your spot! *June 24 & July 15 Registration is every 30 minutes with a maximum of 2 participants for batting cages.

Food Truck/Vendor Concerts in the Park Concert in the Park Vendors/Food Trucks can provide food/ drinks/treats, etc. at the Concerts in the Park which average 500+ people/concert. There will be no duplicate foods (first come/first serve). Food vendors must provide copies of health permit, license, and insurance. The fee covers all 6 Concerts in the Park.

Unleash your dog's poten al! Join us for an on-leash class with our dog trainer, Bree Pazera, to teach your dog to be more confident, obedient, and respec ul. Dogs must be at least 6 months of age. Orienta on will be held the Sunday before the start of class and will be scheduled individually.

Proof of Rabies Vaccina on is required. Class will be held at Wiggly Field Dog Park located at 905 S. 13th Street.

Join our dog trainer, Bree Pazera to teach your dog fun tricks to build confidence in your dog while giving a posi ve outlet for their energy. Dogs must be at least 1 year of age and have no history of reac vity. No prerequisite is required. Proof of Rabies Vaccina on is required. INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE/AGILITY 1 Further your dog's skills in obedience and introduce them to the fun world of agility with our dog trainer, Bree Pazera.

WIGGLY FIELD DOG PARK - PASSES VALID JAN 1 - DEC 31

Officially opened in July 2012, Wiggly Field Dog Park is the first off-leash dog park operated by the Oregon Park District. The dog park is a 1 acre fenced off-leash area with two separate entrances and exits for safety. The first area is an open running area and the second is an agility training area. The park offers water fountains for people and dogs. Wiggly Field off-leash dog park is open seven days a week from dawn un l dusk. Agility equipment will be removed during the winter months and brought back in the spring. We ask all owners to have fun, plesae call Nash Recrea on Center (815)732-3101. Proof of rabies vaccinaƟon is required upon registering.

A $20 Key Fob deposit is collected for all first-Ɵme users. The deposit is a one-Ɵme fee and will be refunded if the user chooses not to renew the membership. Yearly Fee: 1st dog $5/$6 NR 2nd dog $2/$3 NR

The Park District offers a free blood pressure and heart rate monitor in our Fitness Center. It is a fully automa c self-a ended monitor. Be heart-healthy and happy! Know your blood pressure!

The Oregon Park District believes that every child should have an opportunity to par cipate in recrea onal programs regardless of financial hardship.

The Oregon Park District offers scholarships to all OCUSD students for reduced program rates according to financial need. Applica on forms are available at Nash Recrea on Center or online at www.oregonpark. org. Applicants for scholarships are not guaranteed program registra on or choice of program loca on.

You can now fish at night in Oregon Park District parks by purchasing a required Night Fishing Permit. To purchase a permit, please call Nash Recrea on Center (815)732-3101. Permits are $20.00 and are valid through the end of the calendar year.

MILITARY POLICY Military home on ac ve duty, their resident family members during military tours and wounded warriors will have access to Nash Recrea on Center at no charge. Proof of military status must be provided.
