TAFT AFTERNOON TEA

BOOZE & BROWNIES PAIRING Join us at Cork & Tap for a fun and delicious pairing event. Jason and Carrie, Cork & Tap owners, have chosen 4 great alcoholic beverages to pair with four fantastic brownies baked fresh at The Village Bakery that pair perfectly! The cooperative paring events have limited space, so register early. Grab your friends or family and enjoy an evening at Cork & Tap. Join us at Taft campus for an afternoon "Tea" on Sunday, May 1. We will begin in the dining hall with a light lunch from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Enjoy tea bun ham sandwiches, fruit kabobs, cookies and dessert bar with beverages. Afterwards visit the Eagles Nest and a walking tour of area artists with the wildflowers as your backdrop. All ages are welcome, ages 3 and under are free. YOUTH SINGLE CLASSES & ACTIVITIES MINI SKATE CAMP DAY Join us at “The Rink” on Monday, February 21st for a special one day mini camp and skate. Your child will arrive at The Rink at 11:30 a.m. and enjoy a pizza lunch. After lunch, a one hour mini lesson will provide your skater with all they need to know whether they are beginner, medium or intermediate level! Open skate will follow from 1-4 p.m. Campers will also receive a credit for the arcade to enjoy when they need a break. Parents are not needed to stay for camp and campers can bring extra money for concessions and the arcade. Pick up is at 4 p.m. The Rink is located at 6929 W. Pines Road, Mt. Morris. GARDEN GOODIES WITH MOM This class is a great way for Moms and their little ones to enjoy time together around Mother's Day! However, Dads are invited to come and help too! Together, make a few garden-style treats such as Caterpillar Kabobs, Edible Gardens, and Critter Crudites with instructor Lynn Kaufman, Lynnie's Kitchen. This is a perfect quality time activity and always fun when food is involved. Mom can enjoy sipping on a beverage at Cork & Tap while helping the kids make treats to eat in class or to take home. Payment is based on one adult & one child. Each additional child $5 (max 3 per family/adult). You will be asked to bring a few cooking utensils from home but all food supplies are included in the class fee.
