We really hope, in the third quarter of 2020, economic growth will be of plus value and prevent our nation from an economic recession, but on the other hand the struggle to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic is really not easy. Times of tribulation always give birth to new heroes and eras. Naturally this pattern is like a mother who is in pain giving birth to a child. Our attitude must be the same as a mother who is in pain of giving birth, even though she is so sick, her hope for a child who is born encourages her to go through it well. The big question is not how difficult or easy the current situation is, but what does God want us to do for now? For the Kingdom of God for the people and the nation? As a member of the ICCC, I am reminded again of these extraordinary words "NO Victory Without a Battle, No Testimony Without a Test, No Triumph Without a Trial" Always be ready in your knowledge of God, keep going, victory will always be ahead of us, if you follow His plan. Beloved friends, in the first edition of the Virtual learning of TWL (Transformed Working Life) series by two speakers, Benjamin Bambang Juwono and Efendi Sitorus last Saturday, August 22, 2020, encouraged us to leave the old Egyptian lifestyle and direct ourselves to the Promised Land each of us thereby increasing our sensitivity in dealing with the FATHER and achieving victory from God's perspective. WISDOM & TESTIMONY GOD IDEA – RESULTS IN A MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS by Lisa van den Berg |
Would you like a God idea? Does God care about your business and marketplace success? Is God involved in your products and design? I heard a story recently with elements that sound familiar: a bright young man moves west seeking technical education, turns entrepreneur, creates a company, designs a product, then sells company for a multimillion dollar fortune. But one thing was different. It’s about the source of the multimillion dollar product idea. And what was the source? “God gave me the idea,” he says, “in a vision…like a video…clear as a bell…” It was an idea worth $100 million dollars.
An ordinary life with a sense ‘there is more’ Brian Martin was raised in a nonreligious, Jewish home in Nebraska. He became an evangelical Christian at age 28. He got married and raised a family in Northern California and developed a successful career as a designer of acute stroke products that facilitated the capture and removal of blood clots in the brain. While his product designs were long established in the marketplace (he holds 90 patents), he knew that they could be advanced technically. In 2006 Brian launched a new startup company, Lazarus Effect, Inc., without a product but with a plan to develop a new generation medical device for stroke victims.

Renewed commitment to God in ALL of life – including the company Meanwhile, one night his family watched a low budget Christian film, Facing the Giants. It’s about a small town high school football coach who reinvigorates his own life and that of his perennial losing team with a revised 100% commitment to God on the field, in the classroom, at home and outside the home. The team goes on to win the state championship. Brian decided to apply the principles to the mission statement of his small company, Lazarus Effect, in the garage of his home. Goal #1: Honor God Goal #2: Make excellent products Goal #3: Be profitable Goal #4: Be successful Like the coach in the movie, he was serious about this 100% commitment to honor God in all things he did with his company. He shared this with his partners, his wife and children. He asked for supporting prayer and accountability.
The new commitment was challenging! Lest you think it was easy, it was not. Brian and his company thrived, then faltered, and then rode the proverbial rollercoaster that many companies and entrepreneurs experience. He turned down a $25 million offer for his company during one of the highs, but within a month the product had a hard failure during one of the clinical trials and there was dissension among his team as to how to remedy the design flaw. He was at a point of despair and on the brink of failure.
Anchored by faith in the Word of God But his faith was encouraged by two calming Biblical principles: 1. Be thankful regardless of how things are going. An obedient follower of Christ should be grateful to even have a chance to be in the game. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18 2. Anticipate the victory even before the battle. King Jehoshaphat, with the Jewish people in dire straits against larger enemy, was so reassured by the Lord that he marched into battle led by men appointed to sing praises to God. “Do not

be afraid or discouraged…the battle is not yours, but God’s…. Stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you….” – 2 Chronicles 20:15 17
Then God showed up Brian’s new product design was at a stalling point. Neither he, nor anyone else, could see a way to enhance the capturing of all of a stroke inducing blood clot beyond 88%. That means one in 8 patients could have a secondary stroke as a result of the treatment that could prove worse than the initial stroke. Even fatal. It was one evening while on his normal 45-minute commute drive home, while listening to Christian praise music on the radio, that he had his vision. As he pulled into his driveway, he saw what he would later describe “like a movie video playing in my mind’s eye,” a full rendering of an amazingly simple, profound and elegant solution to his product design problem. A God idea. The video vision played 3 times for him in his mind. He knew he had never seen nor could ever have conceived of the approach that was presented to him. It was clearly from God. A gift. And that’s how he saw it and responded to it.
God’s Production Brian shared the design idea with his coworkers the next day. They were astounded with the design notion. “How did you do this?!” they asked. He responded by telling them honestly about how he received the God idea. When the product went to clinical trials and he presented the medical device to neurological experts, doctors and stroke specialists around the world, he would now commonly be asked “How did you come up with this design?” He would now always proceed to shamelessly tell of the vision he received from God. The product sailed through extensive clinical trials with a 100% success rate. That means there is ZERO residual blood clot after use of the Lazarus Effect device. Brian’s company was acquired by Medtronic, Inc., in October 2015 for $100 million. Brian says, “In God’s economy I am not different from anyone else. God wants to give gifts to ALL of his children.” Are you honoring God with your life and work? Are you asking Him for solutions to your problems? Why not now… 6

Gunnar Olson, yang diteguhkan dengan nubuatan dan terbukanya pintu kesempatan disekitarnya yang sebelumnya tertutup. ICCC merupakan panggilan yang serius dan menantang bagi pengusaha Kristen untuk mengenali jaman yang sedang kita masuki dan dengan terang dari pengenalan itu memasuki dimensi iman yang baru yang disediakan bagi mereka yang …” takut akan TUHAN … berbicara satu sama lain … dan menghormati namaNya.” (Maleakhi 3: 16) Visi ini memanggil para pengusaha dan kaum profesi di seluruh dunia yang terbeban untuk saling berhubungan, bertukar pendapat, memperdagang-kan barang dan menyediakan jasa, saling mendukung dan menguatkan secara rohani dan materi. Berdasarkan eksistensi dari visi itu sendiri memproklamirkan otoritas Kristus yang mutlak diseluruh dunia. Pada intinya ICCC adalah kehendak TUHAN untuk memperluas tali kasih-Nya, melalui gereja-Nya, didalam dunia usaha. Hal ini menuntut para pelaku bisnis mencari terlebih dahulu Kerajaan-Nya dan segala Kebenaran-Nya. Urapan tersedia bagi mereka yang dengan mata melihat dan telinga mendengar panggilan jaman. Sebagaimana halnya Raja Daud yang menerima urapan untuk menjadi raja, jauh sebelum dia menjadi Raja, yang keadaan pada saat urapan diberikan sama sekali tidak mungkin bagi Daud untuk menjadi Raja, demikianlah ICCC memanggil para pengusaha Kristen sebelum peristiwanya terjadi untuk mengalami kebebasan masuk ke dalam dimensi baru, dimana sasaran, strategi dan perencanaan bersama-sma diwujudnyatakan sesuai dengan iman di dalam Kristus. ICCC mencanangkan panggilan itu sejalan dengan rencana TUHAN bagi jaman ini sebagai kunci memperoleh berkat dan pertumbuhan dan agar dapat bangkit berkemenangan diatas gelombang ombak yang mengancam. Panggilan ICCC: “Mereka akan menjadi milik kesayanganKu sendiri, firman TUHAN semesta Alam pada hari yang Kusiapkan. Aku akan mengasihi mereka sama seperti seseorang menyayangi anaknya yang melayani dia. Maka kamu akan melihat kembali perbedaan antara orang benar dan orang fasik, antara orang yang beribadah kepada TUHAN dan orang yang tidak beribadah kepada-Nya.” (Maleakhi 3: 17-18) 7

Satu-satunya TUHAN pencipta segala sesuatu dalam kesatuan Trinitas: Bapa, Anak, dan Roh Kudus.
Keilahian TUHAN Yesus Kristus. Kelahiran-Nya dari rahim seorang Perawan. Karya penebusan dosa manusia melalui kematian-Nya diatas kayu salib. Kebangkitan-Nya. Hak otoriatas diri-Nya atas dunia dan Kedatangan-Nya yang kedua kali dalam Kuasa dan Kemuliaan-Nya.
Alkitab, sepenuhnya sebagai Firman TUHAN yang memberikan inspirasi dan berbagai peraturan bagi kehidupan yang dilandasi iman.
Keselamatan pribadi orang berdosa dan kebutuhannya untuk mengalami proses regenerasi melalui karya Roh Kudus dalam menuju menjadikannya sebagai manusia yang dikehendaki oleh TUHAN, seutuhnya.
Transformed Working Life (TWL) adalah Pelatihan resmi dari Kantor Internasional bagi anggota ICCC dalam memperlengkapi anggota dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman latar belakang, tujuan dan penerapan prinsipprinsip Kerajaan TUHAN bagi dunia bisnis dan profesi. TWL diperuntukkan bagi anggota dan dapat diikuti secara cuma-cuma, namun terbuka juga bagi siapa saja yang berminat untuk mengikutinya. TWL diselenggarakan dalam bahasa Indonesia dan dilengkapi dengan buku panduannya, yang telah diterjemahkan kedalam Bahasa Indonesia juga, sehingga para peserta betul-betul akan memperoleh manfa’at yang besar dan mengalami transformasi dalam kehidupan pribadi maupun bisnisnya.

CORPORATE MEDIATION AND SERVICES Corporate Mediation and Services (CMS) is known as the emergency clinic provided by the ICCC Indonesia to help and assist any company owned by the ICCC Indonesia members, individually and/or a partnership corporation belong to two or more members. In addition, CMS is also providing assistance to any company belong to non-members as long as they are willing to follow the rules and biblical principles offered by and through CMS. I.
SCOPE OF SERVICES: 1. To link and bring the companies together. 2. To provide consultation to the company in trouble. 3. To provide training to the staff using Transformed Working Life (TWL) training materials. 4. To act as a mediator between two or more parties that involve in conflict due to many reasons.

PROCEDURE: 1. The ICCC Member to contact CMS Centre 2. The participating consultant to visit the company or companies which require help, to discuss about the problems and possible help and assistance to solve the problems. 3. To pray together 4. To set-up the follow-up 5. The CMS will evaluate and submit a proposal on how to handle the problem.

20 20 with visions 20 20 vision is the phrase used to describe perfect or normal vision. When I visit the optician, she gives me an eye test and then glasses to bring my sight up to standard. For the Christian, vision is very important. In Proverbs 29:18 we find the statement, ‘where there is no vision the people cast off restraint.’ For us, we can highlight vision at three levels: First and foremost, the most important vision is this: Jesus will return one day to earth. This is clearly borne out in scripture, for example when the disciples saw Jesus rise into heaven they were told, ‘This same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.’ (Acts 1:11) Come Lord Jesus, come! Then there is that part or parts of the Body to which we are called, be it a local church or fellowship or an organisation like ICCC. Here it is very important to receive the vision from the Lord. A vision statement developed and written by us may look good but, unless it comes from above, it will bear little fruit. In ICCC we have a very clear prophetic vision – a people in the marketplace who are living in a new dimension where what they do in life, and work, is the outward manifestation of an inward walk of faith. This is a vision from the Lord that has the potential to be very fruitful. Finally, we have our own personal vision for our life and work, which we would describe as our calling. That which the Lord has prepared beforehand (Ephesians 2:10), that is our calling. It is the place where we can expect to experience the outward manifestation of the inward walk of faith, as we hear the Lord with specific guidance and instruction. Let’s expect more! Confidence is an important element in the working out of our calling and vision. My own experience fulfilled the scripture, ‘Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called.’ (1 Corinthians 7:20) For me, over 50 years in accountancy has provided very well for my family, with plenty over for generosity; we saw a number of clients come to a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as their saviour; we saw some healed; we saw words of knowledge bring professional understanding not learnt, and we saw miraculous provision. I never doubted that I was called to be an accountant. James warns that doubting will lead to fruitlessness. (James 1:6-7) Getting our spiritual vision clear is much more important than good natural vision (eyesight). So my friends, be confident reminding yourselves that the Lord will return, possibly quite soon. I pray He will find us doing His works and thus be able to address us as good and faithful servants, doing business until He comes. (Luke 19:13)
