Maple Hill Auctions,

Welcome
On behalf of all the consignors I would like to welcome you to the 2024 edition of the OSA Fall Classic Sale. This year’s offering has something for every kind of operation. Whether you are a long-time Shorthorn breeder, new to the breed or a commercial beef producer I am sure you will find something to suit your needs.
These are certainly exciting times in the beef business. It is a great time to rejuvenate your herd with new genetics to move your program forward for years to come. There is a wide variety of rare and unique pedigrees in the offering, along with some exciting services to the bred females. The breeders stand behind their programs so you can buy with confidence.
With the Canadian Shorthorn Junior National Show being held in Lindsey next summer this is a great opportunity to buy a heifer and work with some of the consignors to help get her ready for the show with you. The show is always a blast when hosted in Ontario!
We plan to once again have the cattle in the sale barn and ready for viewing Friday afternoon/evening. If you are unable to the attend the sale and would still like to participate please contact any of the contacts listed in the catalog and they would be happy to assist you in a professional manner. New this year online bidding will be available using DLMS. Look forward to seeing you at the sale!

Penny 18K was originally purchased back at this sale in 2022 with the dream of making her a foundation female for my herd. With the decision to reduce my herd this fall I thought it would be best to offer some of my young cows with a promising future, and boy does this girl have a great one ahead of her. Penny did a excellent job raising her first calf with a very nice udder. Long, clean made hard working cow that will go out and work for whoever her new buyer is. Bred May 27th to Shadybrook Chivas Regal 38G ET (X-[CAN]*26565).
