WELCOME TO Welcome to the Thousand Trails Seaside RV Campground We wish to extend a warm welcome from the Thousand Trails Seaside RV Campground staff. It is our sincere wish that your visit is an enjoyable and safe experience. If you have any questions or need recommendations on the best place to grab a bite to eat, please don’t hesitate to ask. We hope your stay with us will be full of good memories and that you will return soon. To ensure a safe and pleasant outing with your group, please share the following guidelines with your family, guests and fellow travelers. Members are responsible for their guests. Any unsafe actions may result in eviction. THE SPEED LIMIT IS 5 mph AT ALL TIMES, including bicycles. Pedestrians have the right of way. This 5 mph speed limit is for the safety of you and all other campers and pets on our campground. Driving 5 mph also reduces pot holes and dust dramatically. Violators will be warned and then fined. Repeat violators’ vehicles will be removed from the campground. GUESTS must be pre-registered at the Ranger Station. Registered camper is responsible for their guests. Guest fees are due for any non-member guest entering the Resort. A daily fee must be paid and a mirror tag issued. Registered camper will be assessed a $25.00 fine for any unregistered guests found on the Resort. Members can have a maximum of 10 people on their site. Non-members can have a maximum of 6 people on their site. Additional people will require the renting of additional site. SITE SAVING is not allowed at any time. In order to serve all of our guests equally, Thousand Trails has a first come, first serve policy. Please be considerate and do not enter other camper’s sites. Thousand Trails staff will remove all items put in a site to save it. Violators will be fined. PARKING: Please do not park in empty sites or on the grass. If you park in an open site, you will be charged the daily retail rate per day for that site. Overflow vehicle parking is allowed in designated areas ONLY. Please see a ranger if you need extra parking for your vehicle. PETS must be on a maximum 10 foot long leash or tether at all times. You must clean up after your pet. Waste disposal bags are located throughout the park for your convenience. A $25.00 fine for not picking up after your pet will charged. Pets are not allowed inside any Resort buildings or Restrooms. QUIET TIME: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. All persons under the age of 18 must be supervised by a consenting adult during these hours.

Page 2

SWIMMING POOL & SPA: Shower before entering the pool or spa. This is to remove excess body oils that clog our filters and create an ugly coating on the pool walls. Swim suits and cover-ups of swimsuit material (non-cotton) only. Threads and excess soaps trapped in cotton clog the filters and increase chlorine usage. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an ADULT. Adult Swim only hours are 9:00 am - 10:00 am and 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Read and observe all pool rules posted both inside and outside the pool area. CAMPFIRES are permitted only in designated fire pits, rings or barbeque pits. All fires must be 8 inches off the ground. Fires must be monitored and extinguished when not attended. Remove all debris from fire pit before departing. Cutting of firewood or brush on the Resort is not allowed. CORDS, ROPES, OR SIMILAR TIE LINES are not allowed to be attached to bushes, trees, standpipes, buildings or any structure at any time. ONLY ONE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PER SITE at a time. ONLY ONE ADDITIONAL NON-SLEEPING VEHICLE PER SITE. ONLY TWO ADDITIONAL TENTS PER SITE. GATE CODES are for registered members and guests only. Codes are not to be given to any person prior to their arrival. SMOKING is not allowed in any resort building at any time. Please dispose of cigarette butts in ash trays provided. TREE TRIMMING by staff members only. CAMPGROUND BOUNDARIES: To all members and guests of Thousand Trails Seaside RV Campground, please refrain from exploring beyond the existing boundary markers of the Resort. The Tsunami evacuation route on the north side of the park is not accessible for our family’s recreational purposes. Please pass this request along to your guests and everyone in your group. Hiking, biking, and pet walking along the evacuation path is neither safe nor permissible. This property is being developed by our neighbors and simply is not ours. Thank you for being respectful and courteous to our neighbors by not trespassing. If you have any questions or concerns in regards to the park rules or boundary’s listed, you may contact the Manager. Thank you.

AREA ATTRACTIONS Walk the Prom – Seaside’s 1.5-mile oceanfront promenade and its famous automobile turnaround at the beach are among Oregon’s most famous landmarks. Dating from the 1920s, the Prom is the place for a morning jog, a casual walk or a bicycle ride. Enjoy the spectacular view as you stroll past oceanfront homes and resorts. Trace the footsteps of explorers Lewis and Clark with a visit to their reconstructed salt-making camp or enjoy Seaside’s best peoplewatching. The Prom and Turnaround offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean framed by windswept dunes and beachgrass with Tillamook Head as a backdrop. Both the Turnaround and the Prom offer convenient oceanfront access for wheelchairs and strollers. Explore History – Seaside features several attractions and landmarks related to America’s most famous explorers, Lewis and Clark, who visited the area over 200 years ago. The Lewis and Clark statue at the center of Seaside’s automobile turnaround commemorates their historic journey. The Salt Works, located on Lewis and Clark Way between Beach Drive and the Prom, marks the believed location of the explorers’ salt-making camp from 1806. Hike the Tillamook Head trail to retrace the route the explorers took to find a beached whale. For more on the expedition, visit the Seaside Museum or make a day trip to the Fort Clatsop Interpretive Center, the site of the expedition’s 1806 winter camp. Fort Stevens State Park – This 3,200-acre park in Warrenton is a local treasure. The original fort was built during the Civil War and there are still abandoned gun batteries to explore. During the summer, watch historical reenactments and military maneuvers. Wander miles of beaches and explore the shipwreck of the Peter Iredale. Open year round. Astoria Column – “I’m on top of the world!” The Astoria Column grants visitors amazing views of the area after they climb all 164 steps to reach the 125-foot high top. Built in 1926, the Column is covered with 14 scenes of Pacific Northwest history. Open dawn to dusk every day. Donations accepted. Located atop Coxcomb Hill in Astoria. For information about these and other activities, stop by the Seaside Visitors Bureau on the corner of Broadway and Roosevelt Drive (Highway 101), call (503)738-3097 or visit us online at seasideOR.com.
