The Burkburnett / Wichita Falls KOA Journey Campground is located near the Red River on the north side of Burkburnett, Texas. We are just north of Wichita Falls, Texas, on I-44 / US 281 at exit 14, and five casinos are just one mile away. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Burkburnett/Wichita Falls KOA, where every moment is filled with excitement and the promise of cherished family memories! After a day of travel, kick back and unwind in our spacious Pull-Thru RV Sites, designed for your comfort and convenience, or stay in one of our Deluxe Cabins with full kitchens, cozy baths, and lofts that your kids will absolutely adore. This fantastic RV park is more than just a place to stay.

Flooding is confirmed; be prepared to move to higher ground. Never try to cross a flooded roadway.

Welcome to Burkburnett / Wichita Falls KOA Journey Campground. Kick back and enjoy your night after a long day of travel. We have a half basketball court and play ground for everyone to enjoy. We have remodeled our restroom to make it ADA accessible. Thank you for joining us in your journey.

GUIDELINES FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY & ENJOYMENT

Please review the following guidelines with members of your party so that everyone has a safe and fun stay at our campground.

• Check-in Time: RV & Tent Sites – 1:00 pm; Cabins – 2:00 pm.

• Checkout Time: RV & Tent Sites – 12:00 pm (noon); Cabins – 11:00 am. A later checkout time may be arranged at a nominal charge.

• Laundry:

» Hours — 24 hours / 7 days

» The laundry facilities are located in the main building. NO clotheslines are allowed in the park.

• Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Music or other noise must not travel outside your designated site.

• Swimming Pool: Pool hours are posted and vary by season. There is no lifeguard; swim at your own risk. Children under 14 years of age must always be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Proper swim attire must be worn vain the pool. NO STREET CLOTHES. Additional rules are posted in the pool area.

• No refunds if you choose to shorten your stay. If asked to leave due to violations of rules, daily rates apply per city ordinance.

• Parents are to supervise and assume responsibility for all actions of their children. Parents are financially liable for damage caused by their children.

• Please keep site clean at all times. Place all trash in the refuse container located at the exit road in front of the park. NO mats are allowed on the grass.

• SPEED LIMIT THROUGHOUT THE PARK IS 10 MPH AT ALL TIMES. Please drive carefully through the park.

• Vehicles and RVs may be washed with fees of $10.00 per car and $25.00 per RV, including window washing.

• Miscellaneous:

1. All facilities are used at your own risk. Park owners and management are not responsible for damage, injury, or loss by accident, theft, fire, or natural disaster.

2. Please turn off the lights in restrooms when you leave if you are the last to leave.

3. No fireworks or firearms are to be discharged in the campground.

4. We reserve the right to refuse service if your RV is not in good condition or appearance. All RVs should be kept in clean condition.

• All buildings are NON-SMOKING. While on the property, please dispose of all cigarettes safely in proper containers, not on the ground.

• NO PARKING ON THE STREETS, GRASS OR LANDSCAPED AREAS IS PERMITTED AT ANYTIME. NO PARKING ON VACANT OR UNDEVELOPED SITES. No cutting through empty sites is allowed.

• PLEASE RESPECT OTHER CAMPERS AND DO NOT WALK THROUGH THEIR SITE. PLEASE RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBORS.

• Pet Policy: Pets should be kept leashed and under control at all times. Pets that display aggressive behavior will be required to leave. Please clean up after your pet. Pets are not to be left unattended. Do NOT leave your animal out on a run overnight. Some of our cabins are pet friendly. A pet’s cabin stay incurs a $25.00 pet fee, paid at the time of registration.

• Awnings: We advise putting up your awning when you are away. Winds can be strong, sudden, and unpredictable. Guests staying in our Deluxe Cabins are responsible for lowering umbrellas to prevent damage. You will be charged for any damage to our umbrellas.
