GUEST SERVICES HOURS: As Posted

CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT TIMES: RV and tent check-in time is 1:00 pm. Cottage check-in 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. If you plan to stay longer than 11:00 am, please contact guest services.

RESERVATION PROCEDURES: All sites are first come, first serve, depending on the width and length of your rig. Annual guests take precedent.

FLORIDA STATUTES: Tenants must be in compliance with chapter 513 and chapter 83, Florida Statutes, in accordance with the duration of their tenancy.

FIREARMS & FIREWORKS: Are not allowed.

CHANGING SITES: Please do not change sites without contacting guest services before you move.

VISITORS: Anyone having visitors staying over 15 consecutive days is required to pay $5.00/per day per visitor. Please contact guest services in writing if you have special circumstances.

COMPLIMENTARY WI-FI – Connect to “Pine Island KOA”.

MAIL PROCEDURES: UPS and FEDEX will deliver to your site. Pine Island KOA is a designated mail facility. Do not use the Pine Island KOA address for any forwarding or mailings. Mail will only be forwarded to you for up to 6 months. Please remember to have mail addressed to you as follows:

WATER/SEWER CONNECTIONS: Florida State Law requires “donuts” to connect sewer line. We are also required, by law, to have vacuum breakers (backflow preventers) on each water connection. Every lot is equipped with the proper vacuum breaker. There will be a $10 charge to your account if this breaker is removed or tampered with in any way.

SMOKING: Smoking is NOT permitted in any public building, including restrooms. No smoking on pool deck.

MOSQUITOS: Mosquitos love Pine Island too! Please be prepared when staying here!

FIRE ANTS: Yes – they bite! Be cautious while walking in the grass. Please contact guest services if your area needs to be treated.

GARBAGE: Please dispose of your garbage in the dumpsters at the front of the property.

RECYCLING:  Cardboard – please dispose cardboard in the recycle dumpster labeled No Trash. There are recycle cans behind the dumpsters for cans, aluminum, and glass. Do not dispose of paint or hazardous waste.  Contact the office if you have bulk items to dispose of.

STORAGE: There is no storage available.  Only one RV per site allowed. No open trailers, boats, utility storage units, freezers, refrigerators, non-patio type furniture or abundant “clutter” are allowed on a site for extended periods of time.

LAUNDRY: Washers and dryers are available in the laundry room.  Credit card only.  Temporary clotheslines are permitted for beach towels and bathing suits only.

POOL/SPA: Opened dawn to dusk or as posted. Pool furniture is first come, first serve. Proper conduct and bathing attire is expected.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES: All drivers must possess a valid driver’s license. At night, vehicles must display lights.

SPEED LIMIT IS 10 MPH for all vehicles, scooters, golf carts and bikes.

PETS: Pets are not allowed at the cottages or tent sites. Rabies shot certification required at check-in. Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome.  A 6’ (six foot) leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owner’s camping trailer.  Pets should not be left outside unattended or tied up.  No fences or playpens allowed.  Cats may not run loose.  Pets are not permitted in public buildings, including shower houses.  Pets should not be an annoyance (barking continually).  Please be courteous to your neighbors by only walking your pet in the area of the resort you are staying and always clean after your pet.  Customers may have common household pets such as dogs and cats.  No other animals, livestock, poultry, reptiles, insects or exotic pets are permitted.  To maintain a quality camping atmosphere for all campers, the site rate is inclusive of up to 2 dogs/site.  Additional dogs: Stays of 27 nights or less:  $2.50/night/dog.  Extended Stays: $25/month/dog. The number of dogs is clarified at check-in and charged at that time, not at the time of the reservation.

WALKING AT NIGHT: Please wear light-colored clothes and carry a flashlight so others can see you. Walk with the traffic – not against it.

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am. No generators after 10:00 pm.

BUYING/SELLING: Please contact guest services for specific policies in this regard before you list your home for sell.

SITE MAINTENANCE: Annual guests are responsible for the care and upkeep of the landscaping all year. Please make arrangements to have this taken care of in your absence. Management reserves the right to have overgrown or unsightly sites cleaned up at the owner’s expense.

LOT ENHANCEMENTS: Improvements to the home or home-site exterior must be approved by management before any work commences.

NO OPEN CAMPFIRES ALLOWED ON RV SITES: You may use store-bought fire pits as long as they have screened covers that don’t allow sparks to pass.  No wood or charcoal ash allowed on the ground.

We reserve the right to refuse service and will not be responsible for damage to rigs, accidents or injury to guests, or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
