GUIDELINES FOR AN ENJOYABLE STAY
• Registration is required upon arrival. Extensions or additional days need to be approved and paid before noon. Please do not switch sites without approval. Check-out time is 11 am. Half-day rates for late check-out when available.
• Emergency – Dial 911, for Cabell County, Milton, WV.
• Severe Weather Campground shelter is located in the basement of the main office/cabin.
• Wi-Fi is FREE @ HuntingtonKOA 2G or 5G password is 3047435622. Please sign into one or the other; do not sign into both 2G and 5G. It will not work on your device if you do. Wi-Fi is strong enough for streaming, video calls, and downloads.
• Visitors must sign in at the Office. Visitor’s car pass must be displayed on vehicle rear view mirror. Visitors are subject to per-person per-day use fee.
• Vehicles must be parked in your assigned campsite and not on patios or vacant sites. Vehicles must be off the paved roadways. Additional parking as designated on site map. Licensed Drivers and Vehicles only. Mechanical repairs are prohibited. Non-licensed motorized carts, buggies, toys or scooters are not permitted.
• Quiet Hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please respect your neighbors by keeping noise and volume to a minimum. No bicycle riding after dark! Children must be on their campsite during quiet hours.
• Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while using any campground facilities.
• Swimming is allowed at the beach only. Swim at your own risk. Lifeguards are not present. No one may swim alone. Proper swimwear required. Life jackets are required to be properly worn by any person swimming or playing in lake. Life jackets are available for guests with signed waivers and KOA wristband designation.
• Fish for Fun, all ponds are catch and release only. No license required for registered campground guests. Please fish in designated area.
• Pets are welcome, but remember to pick up after them. Pets must be on a leash and may not be left unattended. Kamp K-9 is open during daylight hours only. KOA pet policy applies to all pet owners. NO EXOTIC PETS.
• Firewood is available for sale at camp store. Please do not bring firewood from out-of-state. The Department of Natural Resources bans the import of firewood due to Emerald Ash Borer Beetle. Campfires must be dead cold before leaving them unattended. Please report any hazardous or unsafe conditions immediately to KOA Staff.
• Wash Pass available for $5 fee at camp store.
• Sewer or gray water spills are subject to $50 health hazard fine.
• Garbage: Some unlucky person in your party will have to take the garbage to the dumpster. If you are traveling alone, it’s you. The dumpster is located at the back of the park beside the road at the barn. Please take your garbage to that location. If you are running behind you can leave your BAGGED trash at the road at your site and it will be removed by one of our friendly KOA park staff by Noon. RECYCLABLES, glass, plastic and metals MAY BE PLACED IN LABELED BINS.
• Disorderly behavior, profanity, illegal drugs, open display of alcohol, fireworks and smoking within the buildings are strictly prohibited. Disregard for any of the above guidelines will be sufficient reason for terminating your stay without a refund. Owners reserve the right to change these guidelines as necessary.
