For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, please follow these simple rules.
General
• The speed limit is 10 mph.
• Park vehicles in designated areas only. No parking on grass.
• All motorized vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver.
• Washing rigs on sites is strictly limited to windshields and front caps only. Professional on-site services are allowed.
• Mechanical work of any kind may not be performed without prior permission from management, except by certified repair companies.
• Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am
• No campfires, open fires or fireworks are allowed.
• Clotheslines are strictly prohibited.
• The playground is for small children only.
• Rollerblading, scooters, skateboarding, riding bicycles, etc. around the office staging area and on sidewalks are prohibited.
• An adult must accompany children 12 years of age or younger at all times.
• We strive to maintain a wholesome, family-oriented atmosphere. Please be considerate while enjoying adult beverages and keep music, televisions and conversation at reasonable volumes.
• Restrooms, showers and laundry are for use only by guests of the Big Texan RV Ranch. Please help keep these facilities neat and clean.
• Your site must be kept free of litter, including cigarette butts.
• A sewer hose “donut” or sealed connector to the sewer line is required.
• Water pressure regulators are strongly encouraged. Our average water pressure is over 80 PSI.
• Make sure water hoses are secured to prevent leaks. Water is a precious resource here.
• Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in any of the buildings or facilities.
PetS
• Pet owners are responsible for the conduct of their pet. Pets must be restrained on a handheld leash at all times when outside your RV.
• When walking your pet, please be respectful of other guest sites and privacy. Please respect the areas designated “NO PETS.”
• Cleaning up after your pet is your responsibility. Disposable waste bags are provided throughout the RV park for your convenience.
• Your pet may not be left unattended or tied up outside of your RV at any time.
• For sanitation reasons, do not erect portable pet fences/pens outside your RV.
• Three fenced pet areas are available for your pet to run and play off leash.
• Pets are not allowed in the buildings, pool area or showers/bathrooms at any time. ADA Service dogs are exempt.
Swimming Pool & Sauna
• A detailed list of pool rules is posted in the pool area. Failure to comply will result in removal from the pool area.
• NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.
• Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times when in the pool area.
• Swimsuits must be worn in the pool at all times; no street clothes.
• Swim diapers are required for infants and toddlers in the pool.
• Colored wristband required for pool use.
These rules are to make the Big Texan RV Ranch a nice, safe place to stay. We appreciate your cooperation and hope your visit is enjoyable and relaxing. Owners and/or management assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries or losses from any cause. Termination of tenancy will be at the discretion of management and can result from a violation of the park’s rules, or behavior deemed detrimental to the RV park & its guests.
