Rules for an Enjoyable Stay

• OFFICE HOURS: 9 am to 5 pm Daily.

• NO SMOKING: In any building.

• QUIET HOURS: Are 10 pm to 7 am.

• ALL VISITORS: Must be registered in office. NO EXCEPTIONS

• PARKING: Your site is designated to accommodate one RV and one vehicle. Any additional vehicles will be parked in designated areas and kept out of unoccupied sites. Do not park or drive on grass.

• FEES: Check out is 11 am. Check in is 1 pm. NO LATE CHECK OUTS. All fees are payable in advance. Please register by 10 am if you would like to extend your visit.

• EARLY DEPARTURE: CGRV Resort is not responsible for early departures necessitated by weather, illness, work schedules, personal emergencies, or other situations affecting our guests. Fees are not refunded for early departure.

• NO TENTS.

• NO RUGS ON GRASS.

• DO NOT MOVE PICNIC TABLES.

• SPEED LIMIT IS 5 mph: Please watch for children.

• PROPANE: Is pumped between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm, subject to availability of qualified staff. Call the office to make arrangements.

• LAUNDRY ROOMS: Open 24 hrs Management is not responsible for theft, loss or damage. Management is not responsible for accidents.

• NO CLOTHESLINES PERMITTED: Do not hang clothes from a tree or your rig.

• KEEP YOUR SITE CLEAN AND TIDY.

• ELECTRIC/HYBRID CAR CHARGING ALLOWED BY

PERMISSION ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT THE FRONT DESK. AN ADDITIONAL FEE MAY APPLY.

• TRASH: Please place your tied bagged trash at the curb in front of your site by 10 am to be picked up. No furniture or appliances are allowed in the trash.

• PETS: Pets are welcome, but there are pet restrictions. All pets must be kept on a leash 6 ft. or shorter. Cleaning up after your pet is your responsibility. No pets are allowed in buildings, pavilion or swimming area. Pets may not be left tied up and unattended at any time. Management maintains the right to refuse any animal it deems dangerous or a threat to our patrons. Failure to comply with these pet rules will cause immediate eviction from the park with no refund. NO PET PENS OR FENCES allowed.

• CHILDREN: Children are parent’s responsibility and children under the age of 12 are to be attended to at ALL TIMES.

• POOL: No glass containers in pool area. NO lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older. Must be a registered guest.

• NO GENERATORS: NOT to be operated in park.

• WASHING VEHICLES: Check with front office.

• LAKE: NO swimming. Management is not responsible for accidents.

• RESERVATIONS: We reserve the right to change your site upon your arrival.

• NO REFUNDS.

• Do not park or drive on the grass. NOTHING on the grass.

Management assumes NO RESPONSIBILITY neither for the actions or safety of guests nor for lost or stolen property. We reserve the right to add to or change these rules, and we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time.

Cable TV Channels

For the cable to work turn off your booster switch and program TV to analog.

Amps You Use Breaker Rules

DON’T BLOW YOUR BREAKER

Take a minute to figure out how many amps you’re using.

IF YOUR BREAKER THROWS

The breaker switch will need to be pushed fully to the off position before switching it back on. You will find the breakers on the pedestal under the lip above the outlets. If it continues to flip and you are using a surge protector, remove the protector & try again. If it still continues to flip, please call the office (or the emergency number between 5pm-9am) for additional guidance.

Local Recipes

Brunswick Stew

Originally created in Brunswick, GA. Enjoyed all over the world.

Makes one gallon. Serve with BBQ or seafood (boiled or fried shrimp, oysters, crabs) from local waters.

1 3-lb. chicken

1 lb. lean pork

1 lb. lean beef

3 medium onions, chopped

Place meat in a large heavy pot. Season with salt, pepper. Add onions and cover with water. Cook until meat falls from bones (several hours). Remove from heat and allow to cool. Tear meat into shreds and return to stock.

Add: 4 cans (16 oz.) tomatoes

5 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 1/2 bottles (14 oz.) catsup

1 tsp. Tabasco

2 Bay Leaves

1/2 bottle (12 oz.) chili sauce

1/2 tsp. dry mustard

1/2 stick butter

Cook one hour, occasionally stirring to prevent sticking.

Add: 3 tsp. vinegar

2 cans (16 oz.) small limas or butter beans

2 cans (16 oz.) cream-style corn

1 can (15 oz.) small English peas

3 small diced Irish potatoes (optional)

1 box frozen, sliced okra (optional)

Cook slowly until thick.

Low Country Boil

Old Frederica Fare

1/2 lb. cooked smoked sausage per person (Kielbasa)

1/2 lb. shrimp per person (in shell)

1 ear corn per person (shucked)

1 box shrimp boil per 2 lbs. shrimp

1 tsp. vinegar per lb. shrimp

1/2 tsp. Tabasco per lb. shrimp

1 tsp. red pepper per 4 lbs. shrimp

1 tsp. black pepper per 4 lbs. shrimp

2 onions per person (optional)

3 new potatoes per person (optional)

Fill a large pot about 3/4 full of water. Add potatoes and all spices, bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.

Add sausage and bring back to boil for 5 minutes. Add onions and boil 5 minites. Add corn and boil for 5 minutes.

Check all ingredients for doneness, especially potatoes. Add shrimp and boil 'til shells begin to separate from the shrimp.

Turn off heat and let stand for a few minutes. Drain and serve.
