Whether using stock photography or hiring an onsite photographer, capturing the diversity and rich history of our school district is done so by capturing images that are genuine and successfully make a connection with our target audience, the community and parents.

Try to apply the rule of thirds. Use indirect angles that make for more dynamic and energetic compositions. Avoid the use of a fixed flash as it tend to over-expose photos. Instead make use of sufficient natural light which helps add contrast and drama. You can use a higher ISO to compensate for low light situation but be careful as too much can produce unnecessary picture noise. Avoid camera shake by using a small tripod or using two hands to hold your camera as steady as possible.
