It’s a powerful tool for building connections, establishing a community and sharing our mission of supporting women’s health and wellbeing at every stage of life. Together, our collective presence on social media allows us to create a seamless, inspiring brand experience for customers

These Social Media Guidelines are here to help you confidently promote your business while ensuring consistency, brand reputation, and a unified look and feel across all channels.

As a valued part of the Serenova community, you play a vital role in protecting our brand identity and providing customers with an authentic and positive experience. To support you on this journey, we’ve prepared these guidelines to help you start your Serenova marketing efforts with clarity and confidence.

Why social media guidelines matter.

A clear and consistent approach to social media is essential for creating a seamless experience for customers and ensuring every interaction feels aligned with the Serenova brand. By following these guidelines, you’re contributing to something bigger – a strong, unified brand presence that builds trust and inspires confidence.

Here’s how you make a difference:

• Build a strong brand: By protecting and growing the Serenova name, you help ensure customers can easily recognise and trust the brand, whether they interact with you or the official Serenova channels.

• Create a unified experience: Consistency across all platforms means customers feel confident and supported, whether they connect through Serenova’s channels or directly with a Wellness Coach like you.

• Establish meaningful connections: Your content reflects the heart of Serenova - real people sharing authentic stories, wellness insights, and the possibilities of entrepreneurship.

Together, we can create a trusted, inspiring, and professional Serenova presence that benefits everyone.

Your role in the Serenova story.

Social media is your online shop window. It’s an exciting, free way to showcase your business, connect with existing customers and reach new ones. By following these guidelines, you can confidently use your platforms to:

• Grow your business and reach new customers.

• Share engaging content like wellness tips, product highlights and inspiring stories.

• Promote Serenova’s premium products and the incredible business opportunity available to others.

• Use platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and more to grow your presence and drive meaningful interactions.

Social media offers endless opportunities to grow your business and strengthen the Serenova brand. With these guidelines, you’ll have the tools to represent Serenova authentically while building a thriving business of your own.

Setting up your Serenova social media accounts.

Your social media presence is one of the most powerful tools you have as a Serenova Wellness Coach. A well-set-up account ensures your customers can easily find and connect with you while staying aligned with Serenova’s brand identity. By following these steps, you’ll create a professional, approachable and consistent profile that builds trust and strengthens your business.

Step 1: Familiarise yourself with the Serenova Social Media Guidelines.

Before posting, make sure you’ve read and understood the Serenova Social Media Guidelines. These are designed to protect the brand and ensure consistency across all Wellness Coach accounts.

Step 2: Choose a clear and professional @username.

Your @username is your unique identifier on social media and forms part of your account’s URL (website address) It’s how people tag or mention you in posts and messages. Your @username should be short, clear, and easy to remember.

Example:

• @JennySmith_WellnessCoach

• @WellnessCoach_JennyS

• URL: Instagram.com/JennySmith_WellnessCoach

• The options are endless!

You could also incorporate something meaningful to you that helps differentiate your profile from other Wellness Coaches. For example, you could include a word or phrase that reflects your personal approach to wellness or something that resonates with your audience while staying professional and aligned with the Serenova brand.

Please note: You cannot use “Serenova” or any variations of the brand name (for example, @Serenova_Jenny, @SerenovaUK, @Serenova_Wellness, @JennyS_SerenovaCoach) in your @username. This guideline is in place to protect the Serenova brand identity and ensure customers enjoy a seamless and positive experience when engaging with Serenova, whether through the brand’s official accounts or your own.

Step 3: Craft your profile name and bio.

Your profile name is the name displayed at the top of your social media profile and is often more descriptive than your @username. It’s what people will see when they search for you or visit your profile. This is a great place to highlight your role as a Serenova Wellness Coach.

Example:

• Jenny Smith Serenova Wellness Coach

• Wellness Coach – Jenny Smith

Your bio is a short description about you that appears on your profile. It’s an opportunity to introduce yourself, explain your role, and add a personal touch. Your bio should be engaging and tell customers why they should connect with you.

Example:

• "I’m Jenny, a Serenova Wellness Coach, dedicated to supporting women’s health and wellbeing at every stage of life. Let me help you rediscover your balance "

• "Empowering women to feel their best every day as a Serenova Wellness Coach. Let’s talk about how Serenova’s tailored support and products can help you achieve balance."

• "Passionate about health, wellness, and inspiring others as part of Serenova."

Step 4: Choose the right profile picture.

Your profile picture should feel approachable.

• Use a clear photo of yourself that reflects your personality and professionalism.

• Alternatively, use one of the official Serenova-branded profile images provided, which combines the Serenova logo with “Wellness Coach.”

• What not to do: Do not use the Serenova logo alone as your profile picture.

Step 5: Follow Serenova’s official social channels.

To stay connected and share the latest updates, follow Serenova’s social media accounts:

• @SerenovaNutrition (Instagram & Facebook) – for product updates and engaging with customers.

• @SellSerenovaNutrition (Instagram only) – for recruitment-focused content and resources.

• Serenova Nutrition (LinkedIn) - our corporate social channel.

Feel free to share content from these pages directly on your own channels to help amplify the brand’s message.

Why can't I use Serenova in my username?

At Serenova, our official accounts serve as the primary hub for brand awareness and customer engagement. To maintain a clear and consistent brand identity, it’s important that “Serenova” or its variations are not used in Wellness Coach @usernames

Using the Serenova name in multiple usernames can make it harder for customers to distinguish between the main brand and individual Wellness Coach accounts. Reserving the Serenova name for official channels ensures customers can easily identify and trust the brand while creating a seamless and professional experience.

What you can do instead.

You can still highlight your connection to Serenova through your profile name and bio, such as:

• Profile name example: Jenny Smith - Serenova Wellness Coach

• Bio example: “Helping women live life in balance as a Serenova Wellness Coach.”

How this benefits you as a Wellness Coach.

• Simplifies customer journeys. Customers can quickly find and trust Serenova’s official accounts while recognising you as part of the Serenova community. This makes it easier for them to connect with your business through a clear and seamless journey.

• Boosts brand visibility and drives quality leads. A unified brand presence ensures that Serenova’s paid advertising and organic social media activities work together effectively, building awareness and driving valuable leads directly to you as a Wellness Coach.

• Strengthens credibility. Consistent branding creates an authentic and professional experience for customers, helping to build trust and loyalty, which reflects positively on your business.

What can I use as a profile or cover picture?

Your profile and cover pictures are an important part of your online presence as a Serenova Wellness Coach. They’re often the first thing potential customers see, so it’s a great opportunity to make a positive and professional first impression.

To help you get started, we’ve put together some simple tips to ensure your profile reflects your personal style and preference

• Use a photo of yourself to make your profile approachable and relatable. A friendly, professional image helps customers connect with you personally.

• Don’t fancy a personal picture? Why not try the official Serenova profile picture designed specifically for Wellness Coaches? It combines the Serenova icon with a “Wellness Coach” badge, offering a great balance of personal and brand identity.

For cover photos.

We’ve created two official cover photo options that align with Serenova’s brand guidelines. You can choose the one that best fits your profile and adds a polished, professional touch to your social presence.

We’re excited to share even more options with you ahead of our official launch on Saturday 8 March 2025, giving you plenty of tools to create a cohesive and professional profile that reflects your unique approach to wellness.

Rules on using marketing content provided by Serenova.

Your social media content is an essential part of representing Serenova professionally and consistently. To maintain a consistent and trusted brand presence, only the official assets provided by Serenova should be used on your social media pages. These assets are carefully designed to reflect the Serenova identity and help you promote your business confidently.

Here’s what you need to know.

• Use Serenova assets as provided Official logos, posts, videos, and imagery must not be amended, adapted, pasted over, resized, or re-edited.

• Stick to the Serenova colour palette Maintaining the approved colours ensures brand consistency across all platforms.

• Personalise through approved templates. Serenova provides branded templates that include editable fields, allowing you to add your details while keeping the overall look professional and aligned with the brand.

• Serenova branded assets shouldn’t be used on existing branded business pages.

Why is this important?

Maintaining a consistent and professional brand identity builds trust, enhances recognition and ensures customers have a seamless brand experience. By working together and adhering to these guidelines, we can create a professional and reliable Serenova presence that benefits everyone. Any content that does not comply with brand guidelines will be asked to be removed.

Guidelines on creating your own marketing assets.

Serenova will provide you will all the templates and tools required to help you create and personalise your social media content.

What you’ll have access to.

All assets will be available via the new Business Hub ahead of our official launch on Saturday 8 March:

• A Serenova brand colour palette and fonts

• A library of approved images, photos, and graphics aligned with Serenova’s brand identity.

• Customised templates with clearly marked editable fields, making it easy to add your name, contact details, and personal touches such as testimonials and quotes without compromising the brand identity.

What you can do.

• Use the approved marketing assets provided in the Business Hub.

• Personalise within the editable fields of the branded templates, such as adding your name, contact details, or personal content.

• Only use the brand fonts and colour palette provided.

• Create short, engaging videos and reels, for example, product review videos

• Utilise all Serenova content used on the official social media channels.

What you cannot do.

• Do not edit, adapt, paste over, resize, or alter elements outside the editable fields of the Serenova templates.

• Do not add unapproved graphics, stock images or colours that fall outside of Serenova’s brand guidelines. Adding extra elements can dilute the professional appearance and confuse customers.

Any content that does not comply with the Serenova Brand Guidelines will need to be removed.

What hashtags should we use?

When using hashtags in your social media posts, make sure you use the following:

#Serenova and #SerenovaNutrition These are the brand's primary hashtags, so we recommend these appear first in your posts.

#WomensHealth This hashtag has 7.1 million posts!

#LiveLifeInBalance This is the brand’s tagline, so it’s important to spread this message to your followers to help them understand Serenova’s mission.

Tip: Make sure other hashtags used are relevant to the content to maximise a wide reach of people.

Top tips for setting up and running your social media accounts.

• Tag Serenova’s official social media accounts whenever you post about the brand. This helps increase visibility and connect your content with the wider Serenova community.

• Use the ‘Business’ function on Facebook to create a profile specifically for your Serenova business. While you can only have one Facebook account tied to your name, you can create multiple business pages under it. For your Serenova page, we recommend setting up a dedicated profile linked to your main account.

• Add your contact details to your bio so customers can easily get in touch with you.

• Include your personal Serenova website link on your social media profiles, making it easy for customers to shop directly with you. You’ll be able to create your unique website link by logging into the Wellness Coach Business Hub from 24 February.

• Post consistently. Whether it’s twice a week or daily, regular posting helps keep your audience engaged. Use Instagram insights to discover the best times to post and identify which types of content perform best.

• Encourage engagement. Add questions or calls-to-action (CTAs) to your captions, such as “What’s your favourite way to relax?” or “Which flavour would you try first?” This invites your audience to interact with your posts.

• Engage with your followers. Check your channels regularly for comments or messages and reply promptly to build trust and connection.

• Create short, engaging videos. Video content is highly effective but needs to grab attention quickly. Keep your videos short, ensure the first few seconds are compelling, and aim to hold your audience’s attention for as long as possible.

• Make your content specific and purposeful. Have a clear goal for each post, whether it’s to inform, inspire, or invite action. Always let your personality shine through - people connect with people!

Top tip for email accounts.

To create a seamless and professional brand journey for your customers, consider setting up an email address that matches your social media profile name. This consistency helps reinforce your identity as a Serenova Wellness Coach and makes it easier for customers to recognise and contact you. This shouldn’t be associated with any other business.

Example.

If your social media handle is @HayleyR_WellnessCoach, you could create an email like HayleyWellnessCoach@gmail.com

Keeping your email address aligned with your social media presence adds a professional touch and ensures a cohesive experience for your customers.

Top tip for WhatsApp Business.

As your Serenova business grows, you may want to use WhatsApp Business to manage communication with your customers more effectively. This tool is designed to help you stay organised and provide a seamless experience for your customers

When setting up WhatsApp Business.

• Ensure your name, profile picture, and bio closely match those on your social media profiles to maintain a consistent and professional journey for your customers.

• Use a clear and relevant profile picture, such as one of yourself or the official Serenova Wellness Coach logo.

• If you run multiple businesses, remember that each business will need a separate phone number to manage communications properly.

WhatsApp Business is a fantastic tool to build stronger relationships with your customers while keeping your communications professional and aligned with the Serenova brand.

What happens if guidelines aren’t followed?

We understand mistakes happen, but to maintain brand consistency, any content that doesn’t comply with Serenova’s guidelines will need to be removed. If you’re ever unsure about the rules, we’re here to help just email support@serenova.co.uk for assistance.

Social Media shopping guidance for Serenova Wellness Coaches.

At this stage, Serenova Wellness Coaches are not permitted to set up any social media shopping channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or other platforms that enable direct product sales. This approach ensures that we maintain a consistent and professional brand presence across all platforms, delivering a seamless and trusted experience for our customers. Don’t forget to include your personal Serenova website link on your social media profiles, making it easy for customers to shop directly with you.

Media enquiries.

If the media approach you to discuss Serenova, it’s important that you do not engage directly. Instead, direct any enquiries to our PR team at PR@serenova.co.uk. The PR team is here to support you and ensure that all media conversations are aligned with Serenova’s messaging and guidelines. Our team will handle media interactions and, if appropriate, involve you in the discussion with full guidance and support. This ensures we present a consistent and professional voice for the brand at all times.
