Products for their plan (ready to give or post if virtual)
Welcome & Build Rapport- make the client feel comfortable & excited about starting their journey

Go through the form thoroughly
Determine the lowest suitable starting Step based on their health and goals
Check for Allergies & Intolerances, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted and accommodated
Measurements
Record their weight
Take body measurements (waist, hips, etc.)
If they’re comfortable, take a before photo for their progress tracking
Plan Overview
Discuss the Step they’ll begin on
Introduce the Steps booklet & how it outlines the Plan, from weight loss to maintenance
Products
Discuss the products they’ll use on their Plan - ensure the products provided are suitable based on any allergies or intolerances
Take Payment for Products
Agree on the payment method (cash, card, bank transfer, etc )
Provide a receipt once payment is made
Arrange for delivery (D2D) if virtual
Set Expectations
Explain how appointments will work, including regular check-ins
Emphasise the importance of non-scale victories (NSVs)
Discuss stabilisation and long-term maintenance as part of their journey
Q&A
Give them the chance to ask questions and address any concerns

Post & Follow-Up Appointment Checklist
Gather all necessary materials
Send a confirmation email or message with:
Their Step details
Any digital resources (eg the Steps booklet)
Your contact information for support between appointments
Track Progress
Update their weight and measurements
Compare progress to the before photo (with their permission)
Adjust the Plan if needed
Re-assess their Step and make changes based on progress or goals
Provide ongoing encouragement and support
Answer questions and keep them motivated
Highlight their wins and remind them of their "why”
Offer tips for success (e g , how to stay on track during busy weeks)
Suggest they keep a food diary or journal for additional accountability
Share inspiring client stories (anonymously if applicable)
