HIKING & BIKING Omaha’s trail system is called Paths of Discovery–each twist, each turn, winds through a different part of the city. More than 85 miles of paved interconnected trails invite walkers, joggers, bicyclists, skaters, and cross-country skiers. Nearly ten additional area trails, including those in Tranquility and Walnut Creek Parks, have dedicated trails for mountain biking. DRIVING SAFARI Just west of Omaha is Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park, a four-mile drive-through wildlife adventure. Drive, hike and see animals in their natural habitat.
