The Volunteer - Jan 2023

Happy New Year, We are gearing up for an exciting 2023! Last year was a great year for the Museum, thanks to you. We greeted over 15,000 guests, made a net income of almost $200,000 in our art shows and special events, and even started construction for interior refurbishments and a new entrance. None of this would have been possible without your help! We are looking forward to another wonderful year with you. Thank you for everything you do for the Museum!

Upcoming Events

Changes and Challenges

With the construction of our fantastic new fire suppression system in the Vandewark Gallery and Hall of Fame, we will continue to have discounted admission through at least the month of February. While it does provide for some unique challenges in the coming months, we can’t wait to show you what’s next!

Brad has been hard at work creating new displays and layouts for the new Hall of Fame gallery, the Cheyenne Room, and the Vandewark Gallery! Final changes should be completed by the time the Western Spirit Art Show opens in early March!

Another Successful Show!

We can’t believe how successful the first New Frontiers Art Show and Sale was! With your help, we were able to create a beautifully intimate opening reception that featured plenty of artists and purchasers.

We were able to sell a record amount of pieces for a winter exhibition, and we can’t wait to see what new things come for 2023’s show!

Our museum purchase exhibtion is up in the Carriage Hall through May 17th. Don’t forget to pop in if you haven’t seen it yet!
