Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum Proxy Purchase Policy and Application Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Western Art Show and Sale 2025 Policy In the event a buyer is unable to attend the opening reception on July 17, 2025, the buyer may purchase art on opening night via Proxy Purchase. Buyers may choose to purchase during the Jump-the-Gun period or wait until regular pricing is available. Please see the guidelines below before you complete the Proxy Purchase Application. Proxy Purchase Guidelines · There is a $200.00 non-refundable Proxy Application Fee, charged upon receipt of application. This does not guarantee purchase of artwork. ·
Request for Proxy Purchase must be made by 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
· There are two options for purchase: Jump-the-Gun Sales and Regular Purchase. Neither guarantees the proxy purchaser the artwork, but you have a higher chance of being able to purchase the artwork with the Jump-the-Gun option. o Jump-the-Gun Sales start at 6:00pm and end at 6:30pm. Sales for Jump-the-Gun sales are first come, first served. If two Proxy Purchasers are interested in the same piece, the piece will be offered to the Purchaser who contacted the Museum first. Jump-the-Gun buyers pay a premium price to more likely guarantee acquiring the artwork. It is a 25% increase on the cost of the artwork. o Regular Purchase requests will be entered into a drawing on opening night. This drawing includes any interested proxy purchasers and opening night attendees. The first drawing to purchase the artwork will be at 6:30pm. If the art is not purchased in person during that time, a second drawing will be held at 6:45pm. If the art is still available at 7:00pm, it will go to the Proxy Purchaser if they were not initially pulled in the drawing. · If a Purchaser wishes to cancel their Proxy Purchase, they must contact the Museum staff by 12:00pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. If the Museum is contacted after this deadline, we cannot guarantee that the form will be pulled in time. The Proxy fee will not be refunded. · Credit card information is required with the Proxy Purchase Application. A Purchaser may pay by check for any purchases, however, credit card information is required to submit the application. Any art purchased with a credit card is subject to a 2.5% convenience fee. This fee will not be charged for the Proxy Application Fee. · If the purchaser requests artwork to be shipped, the attached Shipping Agreement must be completed, and the buyer is responsible for the shipping cost.
