Somsouk is an award-winning poet, writer and journalist, who writes under the pen names; Dokxone, DoneKhong and Xieng-Eng. He has won several prizes, including the Mekong River Literature Award (2010) and the SEA Write Award (2014). Somsouk is the current President of the Lao Writers Association. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Oh!

John is a photographer, writer and editor, based in Bangkok. He reports on Asian popular music for Songlines magazine (UK) and has written the ‘World Beat’ column for The Bangkok Post since 1994. He also spins vinyl as DJ Por Yai at clubs in Bangkok.
Fabien (Fabworld) is a photojournalist who has travelled extensively on five continents. A free spirit, he is happiest when he is astride a motorbike, camera slung across his shoulders, exploring new places and seeking out new experiences.

David came to Laos over 15 years ago as a VSO. He has stayed on as an ELT trainer and enjoys his job teaching academic English at Vientiane College. Now married into a Lao family, and fluent in the language, David is a keen hiker, having walked from Vang Vieng to Vientiane for charity . He also enjoys cycling, particularly in the south of Laos.
