Our City has so much to offer! Our friends at Tri-City Medical Center share why they love where they live and their passion for our community.
Rocky J. Chavez Chairperson, Tri-City Healthcare District I love the daytime farmer’s Market in Oceanside as well as the Sunset Market on the same day. The food is always delicious and there is such a fantastic variety always available! I love walking around and seeing what local artists have conjured in their studios as well. It is always an adventure.

As a former State Assembly Member representing Oceanside from 20122018, this amazing city holds a special place in my heart. I love this community because it holds high values and supports our military, environment and education. Oceanside highlights the best of California: beaches/harbor, agriculture, San Luis Rey Mission, industry, military, Oceanside Museum of Art and open spaces. I have been fortunate enough to serve this great community as a U.S. Marine Corps Colonel at Camp Pendleton, as well as on the Oceanside city council. Now, as Chair of the Tri-City Healthcare District Board of Directors, I am proud to serve coastal North County’s largest hospital where we provide the best care to our Oceanside residents!

I love Oceanside because you get southern hospitality but in a California beach town. The community is downto-earth, caring and people-oriented. I love that Camp Pendleton is right in our backyard. Being able to host the nation’s finest warriors (Marines) is not only an honor but is a steady reminder of how lucky we are to have freedom.

I love Oceanside because it’s a military town and that means a lot to me because both of my parents served in the United States Marine Corps. I was born at Tri-City Medical Center and had the privilege of growing up in Oceanside and watching it grow over the years. It really is the best place to live and work!
Hope Chaney EVS Department Manager, Tri-City Medical Center Oceanside is such a great place to call home. As a United States Marine Corps Veteran, I was introduced to Oceanside back in 1988, and I knew I would come back one day. My daughter moved to Oceanside and I knew that it was my time to rekindle my experience with such a welcoming town. I have been here five years now and am proud to say Oceanside is my new home. I have done more activities here in Oceanside than ever, from walking along the beach to cycling the San Luis Rey River and you can’t forget trotting the 5k on Thanksgiving. Oceanside is such a fun-loving community.
