There is no limit to local homeowners’ along Dyker Heights Boulevard from 11th to 13th Avenues and from 83rd to 86th Street.

Since 1985, this premier New York event continues to be a special experience for those celebrating Hannukah. For eight nights, the Grand Army Plaza in Prospect Heights in Brooklyn is home to the world’s largest menorah. The event is open to all, and every evening boasts entertainment, hot latkes, and gifts for the children. It is a popular, must-do family activity and features a kickoff concert.

6. WINTER LANTERN FESTIVAL: JOURNEY TO THE EAST

On St. George, Staten Island, through January 8, 2023, this immersive sensory experience at SIUH Community Park captivates spectators with over eight acres of beautiful light. Along with the stunning luminescence from larger-than-life Chinese lanterns and light displays, the festival also features plenty of food vendors, a live DJ, an animal kingdom, and more to keep everyone merry.
