Experience a process of gradual discovery from the knowledge and writing of letters, to the writing of some short sentences. Obtain agility in writing. Preparation for the academic and professional future and minimise errors in writing.
CAMBRIDGE FOR SCHOOLS: While the prestigious TRINITY COLLEGE exams focus on speaking, the even better-known CAMBRIDGE exams assess the four classic skills: spoken, reading, writing, listening. According to the result of the "pre-grading", each student will be assigned to the most appropriate course for their level. The exams will be held in La Devesa, except for C1 or C2, which takes place in Valencia.
In the speech therapy sessions, we work on the reading and writing processes, uidity and articulation in speech, reading comprehension and swallowing. Likewise, students are also provided with the tools necessary to achieve progress correctly in di erent areas of their development.
Objective: to know our voice and to treat possible injuries associated with a misuse, to improve its quality.
The speci c contents will be:
• Know the di erent organs involved in phonation and their function.
• Raise awareness about the proper use of the voice.
• Identify and locate improper habits to be corrected.
• Learn to relax and avoid talking with tension.
• Breathing control.
• Exercise phono-respiratory coordination. Early intervention will allow the development of suitable strategies for a more appropriate vocal use, using them in their day-to-day life.
Re-education Therapy is understood to be the psycho-educational intervention oriented to students at any educational stage (Infant, Primary, Secondary or Training Cycles) who show some concrete di culty in learning. Our therapeutic work focuses on those aspects that directly or indirectly in uence educational learning:
• Behavioural (autonomy, work capacity...)
• Socio-emotional (motivation, self-concept...)
•Cognitive (attention, memory, reasoning, planning...)
At rst, the above aspects are evaluated, and a work plan is determined which allows, based on the student’s own abilities and to develop those abilities which are necessary and required, according to their chronological age.
Robotix is an extracurricular activity aimed at students from 4 to 13 years that encourages the development of skills and competencies such as creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, communication, teamwork, and self-con dence in a highly motivating and fun environment, and using robotics as a platform of knowledge. Students:
• Combine logic and reasoning with play and imagination.
• Shape ideas by building real objects and managing tools.
• They leave their mark and express their originality in the learning environment.
• Feel they own, proactively responsible and are internally motivated.
• They learn through re-exposure to their own experience, and that of colleagues and specialists.
•Help each other learn more as they build.
This is o ered to Primary students. It is an ideal extracurricular to o er students techniques of studying, doing homework, reinforcing concepts...When performing tasks that require seeking information, they will have access to computers to aid them in this work.
For a better work/school family balance we o er a service from 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with breakfast and snack. In the afternoon, sports activities, games and recreational activities will be scheduled.
This is a programme designed speci cally for children between 5 and 13 years old, through which they learn to mentally perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately. It presents itself as an extracurricular activity designed and structured by a group of experts coming from the eld of mathematics and taught by quali ed teachers, o ering interactive and fun teaching. Complements and reinforces student learning.It stimulates analytical and creative skills, developing the hemispheres (right and left sides) of the brain, thus making children improve their learning capacity.
It increases their self-con dence and their ability to concentrate and observe. We can a rm that not only do we see improve in the subject of mathematics, but the development of the brain facilitates a general improvement in all academic subjects. The programme is divided into 8 or 10 levels and two levels are reached per school year. The classes are structured in two groups: TinyTots, from 5 to 7 years old, and Kids, from 8 to 13 years old. There are two hours a week that will be taught in the post-lunch hours. La Devesa is committed to the method and has decided not only to incorporate it as extracurricular but also to subsidise it. The activity has a registration fee that will be paid over two courses, for all levels.
With a play-based methodology, we learn to swim. Swimming provides us with the reinforcement of all the muscles, the increase of lung capacity, body control, agility, relaxation and enhances self-esteem.
From an initial familiarisation, it leads to introducing technique styles, rehabilitation, strengthening muscle groups, enhancing heart and lungs, agility, balance, coordination, and exibility. Swimming is at midday (students between 6 and 12 years old), two days a week on Tuesday and Thursday.
La Devesa ESports Academy es una iniciativa de Grupo Sorolla para poner a los alumnos/as en contacto con el mundo de los juegos cooperativos y con el mundo de los E-sports. El proyecto pretende brindar a los alumnos las siguientes herramientas:
• Un entorno seguro y hábitos saludables donde realizar su actividad preferida.
• Trabajar los valores Grupo Sorolla a través de la simulación virtual.
• Brindar herramientas para el control del ‘tilt’ o frustración.

Rhythmic gymnastics is one of the most creative sports, since it gives rise to the imagination, like almost all disciplines that have to do with music and body expressiveness and dance modalities. It seeks to achieve original exhibitions, chain di cult exercises, in addition to achieving a balanced and beautiful exercise that enhances expressiveness and where creativity and technique are always united.
Rhythmic gymnastics can be considered an art, as well as a sport, for its plasticity and beauty. During the course there will be small exhibitions as a sample of what we have learned during the year. Classes will be held at midday (2 hours per week), Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Group of directed tness activities including weight room without the use of weights, suitable for toning the muscles in adolescents. Afternoon hours from 17:00 to 18:00: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Tuesday and Thursday from 13:45 to 14:45.
This is a dynamic and fun collective sport, which gives us possibilities for improvisation and development of motor skills, letting players expand their mental agility in decision-making since it is much faster than other sports because it is played in a small space. It also increases the development of physical-mental abilities.
The player of this sport assumes responsibilities before the collective that lead him to achieve a competition of solidarity and collectivism for a common goal. It will be held at midday Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday. Age group: from 6 to 12 years old. Participation in School League and friendlies.
Martial arts will provide the child with various bene ts in their mind and spirit. Self-esteem can grow considerably and along with this it will improve the ability to concentrate and acquire such desirable values as perseverance, discipline and respect. Classes will be held at noon. (2 hours per week).
Badminton is one of the fastest racket sports in the world and consumes a lot of energy. Re exes, coordination, tactics, strategy. Badminton has it all! The bene ts of playing badminton go beyond the physical. It is a fun and accessible sport that gives you a great sense of well-being. Opening hours: afternoon 16:45 to 18:00, Wednesday and Friday. With collection of the students.
Basketball is one of those sports that can be practiced from the earliest ages. It gives us better coordination, increases concentration and speed of meetings, develops agility, locomotor skills and endurance.
Basketball cares for and protects the cardiovascular system and improves muscular endurance. Therefore, this sport fosters the autonomy of children and helps them to feel part of a group, preparing them to take their place in society, as well as transmitting such important values as cooperation and companionship. It is a fun and dynamic sport that keeps children away from a sedentary lifestyle, provides them with self-con dence and also promotes good self-esteem. It will be held in the afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. two days a week: Tuesday and Friday.
