Self Installation Guide


BEFORE INSTALLATION Envisage Dental TV requires the following infrastructure: 1. A n internet connection which can be accessed via: • WiFi or • An ethernet connection 2. A double power socket, one required for the media player and one for the TV screen. 3. Your chosen TV will require one of the following inputs: • HDMI or

Other factors to consider: Location of the media player hardware – for single screen systems the media player is normally located on the left-hand side of the screen with the power button facing outwards. This makes it easy to access for any technical support issues. Clearance space – if mounted behind the screen, there needs to be a minimum clearance space of 8cm between the wall and the TV screen. Height of the screen – if you are unable to reach your TV screen or media player without using a ladder you may need to install other equipment. INSTALLING THE ENVISAGE DENTAL TV MEDIA PLAYER 1

Remove your existing screen from the wall ensuring that you disconnect all the relevant cables.

he media player is provided with T a mounting bracket, you will need to position this on the left hand side with the arrow pointing upwards.

Fasten the special mounting screws supplied to the media player as shown below then attach the media player to the bracket ensuring the mounting points are aligned.

onnect the power cable, HDMI C or VGA cables as shown below (depending on the option you are using) and network cable if you are using a wired internet connection.

eplace your screen and connect the R relevant cables to the ports you wish to use on the TV screen.

VGA Connection

urn on your TV screen and press the T power button on the media player (shown below). You will need to wait for a few minutes for the media player to start. If your display is still blank then please ensure you have the correct input selected on your TV screen.
