Varied work and hours are Monday night sleepover, Tuesday and Thursday. The individual/s we seek must be suitably qualified, experienced and take pride in their work, have a ‘can do’ attitude and motivated to care for others. They must have their own transport. NOTICE OF COUNCIL RESOLUTION ON ELECTORAL SYSTEM AND OF RIGHT TO DEMAND A POLL

Notice is given under section 28 of the Local Electoral Act 2001 that the Northland Regional Council has resolved to hold its next triennial general election under the First Past the Post electoral system. This electoral system will be used for the 2019 triennial general election of the Northland Regional Council. Electors of the Northland Regional Council have a right to demand a poll at any time to countermand the resolution to use the First Past the Post electoral system. Should a valid demand for a poll be received by 28 February 2018, a poll will be held by 21 May 2018 on whether the First Past the Post electoral system or Single Transferable Voting will be used for the next two triennial general elections (2019 and 2022) of the Northland Regional Council. If a valid demand for a poll is received after 28 February 2018, a poll will be held after 21 May 2018 with the outcome applicable for the 2022 and 2025 triennial general elections. A valid demand must be: • Made in writing;

• Signed by at least 5 percent of eligible electors of the Northland Regional Council.
